I went to Anchor for a mortgage loan modification last November. They took over $1400 from me for services and promises of help. The agent, Nick (or Mick) said the office was in TN. The bedding had not been changed, lipstick on the sheets and pillow cases. The bath towels were very old, one had holes. The light fixture in the bathroom had a leak. Eight months ago, My daughter lost her job, and had to move. To help her out I told her i would provide internet service for her. I just found out that Wells Fargo charges me for using my own money out of my savings account. If you do any electronic type of transfer they charge you $10.00. This includes online transfers, auto withdraws, atm, etc. The only way they do not charge you is if you walk into their bank and ask them to transfer the money for you. I purchase their Regdefense registry cleaner software this morning and used it and it crashed my whole computer to the point of no return. System Restore wouldn't even work. It acted just like a virus by wiping out all windows programs by making them into shortcuts that lost their original programs. All DLL files were wiped out. This company has the perfect scam. They offer a trial for $1 (one dollar) and then 8 days later they charge you for a full 30 day supply at $78.41 (seventy eight dollars and forty one cents). The scam is that you don't get your trial pack. When you call to tell them you have not received it they indicate that it was delivered on a certain day (within the 8 day window) and that you should have received it and now a claim must be filed. We received an addition charge of 9.99 on one of our cell phones on our family plan. We immediately called Sprint to report. They advised my 14 yo must have accepted the charge. We would have to contact the company itself. We then contacted TextPlansite.com and requested to cancel whatever it was they were charging us for.
