Shannon Adams called me out of the blue and promised to sell my timeshare. She gave me a line about already having a buyer waiting. She said I had to pay $899 for incentives that they would give the buyer to entice him to purchase the timeshare from them. She told me a specific day and time for me to be available. I have lived on this property for only 3 months and my hot water has been out 12+ times. There have been several times where I cannot shower before I go to work. They refuse to do anything about it except for these cheap, temporary fixes. I have many other complaints about this property, but this is the most disruptive one. bought bedroom and livinng room furniture from haynes brothers. furniture damaged, delivery men saw it and pretended not to noticed . the top of the dresser lifted right off, no apologies and kept lying to me about when furniture would be delivered. A (false) Facebook link led me to this company where I could get a FREE 15 Day Trial of ACIA Optimum for just the cost of shipping, $1.95. They charged me (immediately on placing the order) $99.96. This company failed to deliver my household furniture and personal goods after having given me confirmed delivery dates on numerous occassions. Each excuse was followed by 'van broken, or no van available ', etc etc. With a window of delivery covering 10 days 8/16 - 8/29, I am still without a delivery date and no due date in sight. I bought 2 used laptops from them that equaled up to 5o0.00. One laptop overheated to where you were unable to touch or hold it while the other one had trouble with the mousepad and several buttons not working. I went in about 4 times and they were so rude. I understand that they don't refund but they can at least honor the warranty. I order from an ad onTV for a WATERJET only. I talked to a machine & had no option to speak with a person. Once they got my crecit card info they added a lot of other items to my bill before I was disconnected they said my total was 72.65. The WATERJET + shipping was 19.95 + 7.95. Went to Caltex petrol station in Durbanville(Durban road opposite KFC) on Wednesday morning to fill my empty petrol tank up. We went for lunch on Sunday 13 September and was told that most of the meals that was advertised for in the Bedfordview news was not available. Which was very strange since for example Calamari was available at their normal prices on the menu but not for the special. Futhermore we was charged R16 for a cold drink (creme soda) that was priced R11 on the menu but was informed by the manager that the price of cold drinks have increased to R16 but they had not updated their menus as yet. My mom, my daughter and I arrived at John Dory's at 20h00pm on 4th September 2009. We were seated and ordered drinks, a sushi starter and a kiddies meal as my daughter was starving by this time. It is shocking that the toilets of such a world famous shopping center are so poorly maintained. I go to Canal Walk very often and at any given time the toilets are in a terrible state. There is always urine on the seats, toilet paper on the floors, taps dont all always work, dispensers out of soap and roller towel and the baby changing facilities leaves tons to be desired. I visited a dentist due to an emergency October 2008. I was told that he was contracted in to medical aid and that was the last I heard from them. This is now the second time I have taken my daughter to watch a movie, and have walked out feeling what a waste of money. My brother's employee Nampak reduced his salary by 25% because he refused to be intimidated into applying for disabilty. They told him the funds would be used to pay the salary of his assisstant whilst he was on restricted duties - we found out that you cannot use disblity funds in this manner and he refused to sign. I went to Cedar square ocean basket the frist time 2 weeks ago. ordered a platter for one where i asked specifically for the prwan heads to be ut of. I received my order with the prawn heads still attached and instead they left of the calamari heads. I saw this as a simple mistake and all was forgotten.
