rfjunkie09
alibache 123 February 9, 2010
There is an ebay auction site where rfjunkie09 has posted an ad selling 52" LED Hi Def Samsung Flat Screen TV and adding Wholesale list next to the description of the item. We assumed that what the ad says is the price is of a wholesale list. We have been charged 1201.00 dollars and received a piece of paper with a list of websites. This is totally outrageous. We have written to ebay explaining the situation and they have determined in favor of the seller and denied a refund of the 1200.00 dollars we paid to get two tv's Samsung for which in turn we received two duplicate letters of a list. Can anybody explain this. read full review »

Pizza Hut card
bbmj57 February 9, 2010
My wife purchased a pizza hut card from the Walgreens in Penn Yan, new York in December of 2009 for 20 dollars. It was a gift to my step father for christmas. They have tried to use it twice and each time the Pizza hut manager has stated there's no balance on it. we still have the card with all thew numbers on the back with the 4 number card. I asked to see if they have a record of it, and i'm sure your company does. The Penn yan Walgreens manager stated they can't do anything for us. I asked who pocketed the money if... read full review »

I payed these guys hundreds of dollars over three months and didnt' get one lead. Their customer service people where rude when I called about my placement being offline. Even worse after I canceled my account in writing they continued to charge my card. After hours on the phone with the credit card company, and being unable to get ahold of anyone at IP Associates for over a month I had to cancel the card to get the charges to stop. Don't ever start doing business with IP Associates, they are a scam company. read full review »

Coin Sets
jemerson February 9, 2010
I ordered coins in early December for a Christmas gift. Operator promised they would be shipped by Christmas. Dec. 25th came and went, and no coins shipped. I called early Jan. and was placed on hold for 30 minutes. Told the coins just had shipped (downright lie). Waited two weeks and called. Unable to get a hold of them due to busy signal. When I did reach them, I used the "customer call back" feature where they are supposed to call you back without losing your place in line. Never got a call back. I have not only already canceled the account that they say they are collecting for, but I have tried contacting both companies several times with no luck. I have had a lawyer send letters to both companies with no result. They leave harassing and rude messages. They say they have gotten no response from me and they will take drastic measures to ensure their client gets paid. I owe their client nothing and they will not acknowledge that I have tried to contact both parties. read full review »

Hotwire.com /regarding North Lake Tahoe
Stacey Allen February 9, 2010
Beware of Hotwire especially in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area! Their areas are so large that I booked a hotel thinking it was in the Squaw Valley North Lake area (since I have a ski pass there) and they gave me a hotel in Nevada which is about 45 minutes away. If you put down Truckee, you could end up also getting a hotel in Reno, Nevada!!! This is crazy! I called Hotwire right away and asked if they could work with me especially since I want to book a hotel at the end of the month in San Francisco. I even spoke to a manager and they would not... read full review »

Rezn8 offered me modification services at a premium price ($4, 000) when most modification companies charge between $1, 500 and $2, 500. It promises me full refund if the bank denies the modification. But: 1) They never refund me $4, 000! Instead, when the bank denies modification, they asked me to immediately pay another $3, 500 to sue the lender. They said that my contract obliges me to sue the lender and hence they will not refund 2) Didn't do a lot more than forwarding documents to the lender and making some phone... read full review »

Electrolux/Kitchen Appliances
Really Cooked February 9, 2010
I've read the complaints about Electrolux appliance failures and Electolux's poor response. They all seem to have a similar theme: product fails & Electrolux delays and/or denies replacement covered by warranty--with attrocious customer service throughout the process. Is it possible that we could join together with a class action suit? I don't know anything about it but seems like Electrolux is selling their product as high end with broad warranty coverage but we get low-end quality and denied warranty protection... read full review »

In October last year (2009) his girlfriend borrowed his car. She had an accident. The vehicle could not be driven from the site. He notified his Insurance Company. VeriCrest Financial, Inc.
jlambright February 9, 2010
VeriCrest Financial, Inc. is holding people's homes hostage. VeriCrest Financial, Inc. is refusing to proceed with bank short sales unless they receive a 20% payoff to release their lien in 2nd position. The lender in 2nd lien position stands to gain NOTHING at sheriff's sale. $0. This act alone is forcing homes into foreclosure rather than allowing the home to be sold as a short sale. Why would VeriCrest Financial, Inc. expect to be paid more money than all of the other lenders who accept a 10% payoff? I... read full review »

Patriot Title
Needs2Change February 9, 2010
It was common practice for Patriot Title (PT) to perfomr title services for clients with high-risk (low credit scores) clients for various, national lenders but then siphon off the contact information into a private database so they could contact them via PT's own mortgage company. This is ILLEGAL in many states, but at the least unethical in any state. The owners are part of the full housing/mortgage problem that cascaded nationally and should be held accountable!! read full review »
