I have unauthorized debits from my account.! When I called the 800 # the cancel this charge, the person I spoke with had such a thick accent could hardly understand what he was saying. When I asked for more information, I was informed they were not alowed to give out that information. I'm not sure how theses companes obtain information, but he had all of my mailing information as if I had actually purchased their product. Something needs to be done. I run a business that ships numerous packages weekly, all of which require Next Day Air shipping. Given that I ship perishables, it is crucial for my packages to arrive in a timely fashion. UPS offers about a 40% chance of that happening, based on about 2 years of service with them. I have since moved on to DHL and Fedex, both of which have provided me with aboiut a minimum of 80% success rate. The savings were minimal with UPS, and were by far outweighed by the devastating losses incurred. A work colleague of mine had the misfortune of using Denver Metro Taxi for a three mile cab trip. The tab for the trip was about $10. The driver added an additional $100 to the fare. Upon calling the company -- Michael Hart, the manager of street operations (whatever that is) was abusive and threatening. The company did NOTHING to rectify the problem. Fortunately, the bank was very cooperative and very aware of this common scam by Metro Taxi of Denver. If you use Denver Metro Taxi, make certain you DO NOT use a credit or debit card. We purchased a Stratford Upholstery sectional new in April of 2009. Shortly after that, the upholstery started literally disintegrating (see picture). On 11-21-09 in the middle of the night someone used my bank card to purchase something from Kaspersky.com. We found 2 charges for $108.02 to be charged to our account. We called our bank immediately and put a hold/stop on my card and was told we just have to wait and see if the 2 charges just get dropped or if they go through. We requested ADT security services to be installed at our residence on July 23, 2009. They took $150 up front took our credit card number at that time. The security system never worked. Avoid BofA if you can do it!! I paid off the credit card balance 29 May 2009 and apparently there was risidual interest from the delay in receipt of the electronic payment that I was unaware of. My elderly mother called the company about a talisman from a spanish television advertisement because they do not mention the price in the ad. The price turns out to be $500. My mother says no thank you and hangs up. Couple of weeks later the company calls my mother asking if she received the product and how does she like it. I have only one complaint about KMED delivery and it wasn't the companies fault. They employed a driver named Ronald Nelson, he was the most foul mouthed individual I had ever met, he also had no business sense, or any type of people skills. He was very rude, never on time and always blamed any mistakes he might have made on other employees or the company in which he worked, or the company for which his employer worked.
