PLRC, LLC
NCLJEFFERSON November 25, 2009
Checked my online account and found an unauthorized charge of $17.83 from PLRC, LLC (scammers). After doing some research I did get my refund within 24 hours. Spoke w/ someone @ 1-877-258-2584 and cancelled the membership and obtained a cancellation number, although she mentioned no refunds allowed. Next, I went to the website www.pdssup.com and did a "live chat" w/ an agent who told me to send an email to [email protected] and provide my name, address, phone, bank name, and cancellation number. Funds were back into my account next day. Horrible experience, but I did get a refund. read full review »

Law Offices of Joe Pezzuto
erinadelaide November 25, 2009
I recieve at least 4-5 calls a DAY from a company that calls themselves "The Law Offices of Joe Pezzuto". Do not be fooled or intimidated by these scam artists. This is not a law office, it is a collection agency. They use scare tactics and intimidation to persuade the uninformed consumer into making payments on unpaid debt. Their "agents" are extremely rude, use profanity and threaten their clients. This debt collection agency is affiliated with Bank of America, Chase and a few others. My GreenDot Premier card expired at the end of October 2009. About two weeks prior to that, I was supposed to have received a replacement card. At close to the end of the month, I called Green Dot (which isn't easy; you have to jump through a few hoops before you can talk to a human being), got someone with a thick foreign accent to whom I asked the question, when is my card coming? She said you should have it within a few days. Well, it never came. I called again, reported the card as never having been received, was told it would be... read full review »

I recently contacted the on-line website "Just Answer.com" and in the process, was asked to submit my credit card information to cover the cost of the advice. I submitted this information and the total amount to be debited from my checking account was $38. There were no other fee's associated with this transaction. The date of this transaction 11/23/09. On 11/25/09, I checked my account history on-line, which I frequently do. As I perused the history to my account, I learned that "Just Answer, " had debited my account... read full review »

Sent muliple emails to tech support regarding downloading a demo version of their software. The scan produced over 6500 errors. I asked if this was normal. That question and similiar other support questions all have gone unanswered for over 2 months. It appears that this type of software, the demo versions, have some kind of logic embedded to produced a bogus large number of errors to entice the person to purchase the product. This is one of the worst companies I've ever done business with. They have never once sent me a bill. I looked into it and found that they were sending bill to an incorrect address. Drivers Select

I recently bought a used SUV from Drivers Select in Dallas Texas and when I was trying to negotiate a deal with them, I was told that the reason the vehicle was over priced by $3000 was because they had just put new tires and new brakes on the vehicle and they had to make up their investment on the car through me the buyer. I was also told that they got the value of the car I was buying through NADA and that they did not use the Kelly Blue Book here in Texas because it was strictly a West Coast book and they do not use it. I signed up for Google Fortune with the understanding that it would only cost $1.97. I woke up this morning to a ticket on the windshield of my car from the City of Wheat Ridge stating I had a $15 fine for "Parking at Curb or End of Roadway". Mind you, I have been parking in front of my house (as does the entire community around us parks on the street) for a year. We have a driveway, but with three cars, someone has to park on the street. Now, I just bought my new car from my hometown so I have out-of-state plates, so knowingly I am being targeted thinking I will just pay the fine. Not happening. This is a bogu... read full review »

I am not exactly sure just where these folks are. I foolishly responded to an Internet ad for a 30-day trial of the acai berry extract for weight loss. I did not realize that I would incur a "membership" and exorbitant fees. Even after trying to cancel, disputing charges through my credit card company, and filing a federal complaint, I am still getting charges on my credit card. If the product had benefited me in ANY way, I might have a different outlook. However, as far as I can tell, there was NO effect--good or bad--from the 30-day... read full review »

Beware of ordering from this company over the internet. They estimate that lights will ship in approximately 2-3 weeks, quite a long time. But I ordered a light from them with no special handpainting or anything and 5 weeks later, no light. No emails letting me know what was going on. And now they tell me the shade is not 'in stock' (how does the phrase apply when you contend that the lights are made in Portland?). Now it looks like it won't come (from China, it seems) for another two weeks, putting the light arriving over six weeks after the order was placed. read full review »
