My husband and I brought a select number bed 5 years ago. We paid $3500.00 and thought it was the best purchase for a bed. Today, we are having problems keeping the air in the bed. I made an appointment for my dog for grooming. They told me none off the people that have groomed her previously are working there anymore. I had Sears coming out to clean 7 areas and was quoted $169. The living area was very dirty from foot traffic, food or drink spills, and some urine spots from some small dogs. There was also a small number of small spots in two of the three bedrooms. The cleaners came out, looked at the job and called me (I was at work) to tell me they could not do a regular cleaning due to the high number of urine spots in all the bedrooms and living/dining rooms. I had a test and was fitted for spectacles in Oct 2008 for use with both reading and computer. on receiving the glasse I immediately said they were far too strong but agreed to use for a week. I purchased in good faith two cartons of cigarettes and have not yet received them. The island St Barths, is part of the European union and therefore they should abide by European distance selling regulations and refund my money; which they have refused to do. Artisan are a construction company who have built flats in the North West. We have bought a new build flat which is 2 years old. Each year our flat has had leaks due to the poor construction on the build. The problem arises from an outside drain that leaks in to our flat. As a result we have lost 2months rent and damage to our property. We are seeking compensation for the loss of rent and damages. Artisan service is poor and are very slow in responding and dealing with issues. I went to see harley group re treatment for sun damage to my face. Nobody at all told me the treatment may not work. The nurse who did the treatments said it could be because of my age (69years) and the fact that I have fine skin- both of which facts they knew when they signed me up. They stopped the treatments after No 3 out of 5 . The condition is now slightly worse but definitely no better. They have refunded me £400 out of £1450 for the course - this does not even cover the two treatments I did not have. As annual members of Cheltenham Racecourse my wife and I pay an inclusive fee for all days of racing. We understand that when an occasional day is cancelled, we receive no refund on this payment. For Saturday 13th December we paid an extra fee of £7.50 each for access to the main stand and adjoining bar and lounge. The racing was cancelled and the racecourse is now refusing to refund the £15 paid. They quote their "Terms and Conditions" indicating that no refund will be made.
