We have paid for disability insurance for over 20 years. My husband had his knees replaced in 2005. His employer accomodated him with light duty work and he still retained his title and pay. This past March the company did not have any light duty work available and thus he went onto STD. After 90 we applied for our Thrivent supplemental insurance to kick in. I was at the same Sam's club today and had a very embarrassing experience: I was walking with my mother in law from a station to station to sample food. At around 1:30, we went to a mesquito chicken breast station. Do not buy anything from Mor Furniture if you expect to actually receive the furniture. It has been 3 months since I purchased furniture and accersories from mor - I have yet to receive everything. Promises are made to make the sell and then yiou keep receiving calls telling you that the items are not in stock. I received a letter from a collection agency for a request for payment from their client Women's Health Magazine. I did have a year subscription that I paid for up front. I am not sure why they sent me to a collection agency I have never received any other notices that I was in default of payment. I just canceled my subscription and plan on contesting their action in the next business day. I take my credit seriously and I am appalled that my credit might be damaged by a $15 transaction. On arrival in Cancun, Adventure Car Rental didn't have the automatic transmission I had reserved 6 weeks before. I was promised I would be charged a lower rate for the manual car. On getting my AMEX bill I noticed it was not applied. In fact my final bill through AMEX was HIGER than the contracted rate. And they slipped in 2 minor extra charges. Dazzle Smile thieves changed the name of the Product to Premium White. They were previously Dazzle White, Dazzle Smile, Dazzle Smile Pro. They change the name when too many complaints are filed against them for fraudulantly, pillaging the credit cards and bank accounts of people who give credit card information to order supposedly free trials of their products. I contacted GMAC as instructed for a loan modification after I was notified the value of my home had gone down, State of Washington had cut my hours and the cost of living had almost doubled. They, GMAC, said I could get a loan modification. I got scamed by HouseFurnitureOutlet.com...which is a true Scam. They changed web pages every month and post items (same items and prices) on craigs list to get you to goto their web page. Sportgoodoutlet.com appears to be the same thing. The web page looks very similiar and they want you to pay by using Money Pak. Ticket Luck charged me $450. more than the price of the tickets. Since it was a "trusted" site by McAfee I assumed that they could be trusted. I tried other sites and they were equally shameful. Purchased the boat from a finance company. Brand new 0 hours no fuel ever put in the boat. The Caravelle manufacture said since the boat was not purchased in the year made ( 2007 bought in 2009) there is no warranty. The engine and outdrive are covered but the boat is not.
