Citibank N A
FUcitibank October 16, 2009
I opened a new account over the phone with Citibank, I just recently moved to Los Angeles from NYC and my original bank was with an institution based in New York, so I decided to close that account and re-open another account I made with Citibank. Everything went well, I received my debit card in the mail and decided to deposit my 1st paycheck in the ATM. Note that my employer has a business checking acct with B of A and are only able at the moment to fund my checks thru this account until they are able to establish a payroll system. Anglian Windows Ltd
Chupaka October 16, 2009
I Purchased two windows and one door from Anglian Windows, when the windows were installed I found they are not the same type as their sales man shown to me. I asked the window fitter and was told that they have two product range and the one they made and and installed for me is the cheaper one and has to be required specifically by the customer. After carefully checked my contract it seem that indeed this is what the contract said in a small print way. But the sales man never explain to me or show me this type of product. I feel so gutted and... read full review »

Med Western Lifestyle Events
Rebelus October 16, 2009
Medwestern Lifestyles Ltd. sell tickets for Tony Robbins the motivational speaker. I had used them in the past for one of his seminars and afterwards thet phoned me regarding another seminar. I stated that I could not afford to go but they stated I could pay in installments. This seemed like a good idea so I agreed and gave them my credit card details. But instead of taking the payment in installments they took all the money at once leaving me in huge financial difficulty. When I rang to question this they insured me there would be no problem... read full review »

Vanus October 16, 2009
Doubletake studios called about 4 weeks ago and told me my sister-in-law had given me a free gift to have a makeover and photo shoot so I thought that was nice, so I took it then after a few days after I was at home with my cousin and a call came through and he wanted to book a date then he said he needs a £2.00 booking fee and I got weary because of what my cousin said to me that I must be careful because it may not be free so I said to you are only taking for only this amount and only this was to be take and they will not take no more... read full review »

Lookers
Rhymer October 16, 2009
I bought a brand new, 08 plate Tigra from them, collected March 1st. Travelling to work less than 6 months later the car completely cut out in the middle of a budy junction. I called the only number I had available on the window sticker for the dealership to be told that information of my AA membership could be found in my black folder which happened to be in the boot of the car. The boot is mechanically operated and therefore not only did they want me to get out of my car on this busy 4 way junction to retrieve it, if I did, I still would not... read full review »

Zurich
Flinstone October 16, 2009
I have had home & contents insurance with Zurich for over 10 years and have out in one small claim some 8 years ago. However, recently after an horrendous storm I had to claim for both home and contents damage due to water ingress. I followed their instructions and got quotes, submitted them and they paid up. Then my neighbour said that a similar problem had happened some 10 years ago with water comming off an adjoining field so I told Zurich thinking they may recoup from a third party. No way. They just refused to insure me further. By... read full review »

HP Notebook G60 Laptop
tjkauffman October 16, 2009
I have never had such bad customer service as I have had with Hewlett Packard. We had our laptop approximately 3 months before it quite powering up. After lengthly phone conversations trying to resolve the problem we had to ship it to their repair center. That part, other than being without a computer for 5-6 days, wasn't so bad. However, when we received the laptop back (which was brand new and in mint condition) the outer case looked like it had been dropped on a pile of rocks. Calling customer service, again, (in India) we were told... read full review »

M ELIZONDO October 16, 2009
Certified Acai / Shannon, LLC I saw the ad on the internet for the "certified acai" in reference to the sediment with Dr. Oz and thought I would order the "free trial" bottle to see how it works... I called and ordered the product on 9/26/09 and their paperwork shows that it was shipped to me on 9/30, but they are telling me that it was shipped on 9/28. Anyway, I called on 10/09 to find out where the product was and I was told that it was to be delivered on 10/10 which is a Saturday... okay, here is where it all begins, I... read full review »

The customer rep told me she would book me into the nearest (from Birmingham) drive centre (warwickshire) and that i would get confirmation in the post. Jon Mitchell's Garage

This garage claim to be a Porsche specialist but they are rip off merchants and should not be allowed to be in business. Our car, a Porsche Cayenne, had a horrible knocking under the car and we took it to Jon Mitchell's to get it fixed. They had the car for weeks and at the end charged us in excesss of £5000 - for fixing the knocking plus a lot of other work we had never authorised!! On leaving the garage, we realsied that they had not fixed the knocking whatsoever as it was exactly the same as when we took it to them...and we... read full review »

So I try to call their "hotline" continuously but there is no answer at all. James Henriksen October 16, 2009
Apparently there are a number of scams going on with dietary supplements. I saw an ad in the Los Angeles Times online about weight-loss promising remarkable results. I am looking to lose about ten pounds, so I figured this sounded great. And natural--using the Acai Berry. They have testimonials and such, so I called the 800 number and soon found myself in a quagmire of charges to my debit card. Knight Frank
Arondo October 16, 2009
I found a property i was interested in for purchase and contacted Knight Frank in Richmond-upon-Thames. It was agreed that i woudl pay what the property was worth so i paid £5000 to have the property surveyed - the value came back much lower than the asking price. The agency then stated that the owner would not sell at the 'real' price!! So, i either paid £500, 000 more for the property than it was worth or lose £5000 for teh survey. Obviously, i walked away £5000 out of pocket but the staf at KnigthFrank were so rude and unhelpful. I feel totally misguided and would never ever use them as an agent again. read full review »

Hamptons
Hommy October 16, 2009
Hamptons managed our rental last year and were absolutely terrible. The property started having problems (falling apart) from the beginning of the tenancy and none of these problems were ever put right - most crucially, the lock on the front door broke and even though Hamptons were made aware of this, it was never fixed! So we had to enter the house via the back garden everytime! During the tenancy the owner of the property came round without any warning several times to 'check the property' - which is totally breaking the tenancy agreement. We felt totally invaded and had no privacy - regardless of our complaints to Hamptons. read full review »

I am a self employed plasterer. I got asked to do the 'kids with terminal cancer wall planner' some time ago. The only proof I ever had that it existed was a very poor quality sample copy that came to me in a tatty tube with an invoice for £595.00 and the small print stated that just 5% of this would go to a Merseyside charity that has nothing to to with children. I never saw any displayed anywhere even though I was told fifty thousand would be distributed and displayed in Lea-on-Sea. For these reasons I refused to pay. They... read full review »
