Based on reading various blogs, the above named "organization" has been sending out phony notifications regarding a person winning a sweepstakes contest in the amount of 1.4 million dollars. Of course, the catch is you must send them $19.99 as an "award payment data release fee". Is it not possible to take legal action against these scams? If just one in ten people are foolish enough to send in this $19.99, this scam may have collected hundreds of thousands of dollars. Invenio Technology, LLC. is a computer service company in NYC that hires subcontractors (like myself) to do their work. I purchased a Haier dehumidifier in June of 2008. It died 15 months later after less than two summer's use. When plugged in and turned on, it sets off the circuit breaiker. Their warranty is vaguely worded, so much so that the individual answering the phone couldn't define what it meant. The Room Place, previously Harlem Furniture customer service was rude and incompetent!! I purchased a $4, 000 sectional couch, delivery was last Thursday and set-up was incomplete. They neglected to hook the pieces on the rail so when you sit down the pieces move. My loan was taken over by Cenlar from Taylor, Bean, and Whittaker. They sent me a letter telling me that and said they had included a temporary coupon to make my payment. No coupon was in the envelope. I made a payment to the payment address with the new account number on it and after two weeks it has not been cashed. I have tried to reach them by phone for over a week and all I get is a busy signal. This is a very frustrating situation! The telecommunications company, Magic Island Technologies, that monopolizes our internet options here provides the worst service and price out of any ISP I have ever come across. This small company on Grand and Encanto will hit you coming and going. It is run by brothers Pete and Jerry Amato. They gave me an estimate and then upped it by $100 after I dropped off the car. I had to go back several times and they never fixed the problem correctly. I purchased a brand new Ashley wood stove from Rocky Top General Store in Harriman, Tennessee for $790.00. They brought the stove to my house, set it up and left. Neither product worked as advertised, and additional charges appeared on my checkcard before my trial was even over! When a salesman for Verizon FiOS stopped by on June 9 I asked about the FiOS Motorola DVR HD recording capacity which is about 18 hours using a small internal hard drive and when an external hard drive could be added. After leasing a Dodge Ram truck for 5 years and making all required payments, I contacted US Leasing to return my truck.
