I purchased a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta from Best Choice Motors. Prior to the purchase, I was assured a full engine check-performance check had been conducted and the vehicle had no problems. We have had an account with Chevron and Texaco for more than 50 years. Shop.com provided TLG Great Fun my account information resulting in a monthly charge. Same scam as everyone else. TLG claims I responded to a query about getting savings information which caused the transaction. Shop.com, which had my account information transacted this to TLG but did not log the transaction to my account history. I was able to get TLG to cancel but did not recover my monthly cost, for which I got nothing. I am now working to get Shop.com to delete any record of my account information. I wish I had seen this site and ripoffreport two years ago when I dealt with these guys. I was scammed by them, so were others. The car I bought had a tire welded to the axle, failed inspection, and after about a week stopped running altogether. Ordered all of my graduation party stuff from them, cake, buns, and sweet rolls as we were having a brunch. They open at 6am. I was waiting in their parking lot and had to call them at 6:10 am to let me in. They had my cake ready, but that was all. Nothing else was ready for me. I have had an insurance policy through JC Penny (now GEMB) for more years than I can recall. I am ALWAYS on time with my payments. Recently I set up auto-pay for the $16.30 monthly fee. Evidently their computer system didn't pick up the payment until the next month. Now they have me listed with the Credit Bureaus as having paid late. I would like to get this removed. Three weeks after ordering 17 storm windows they came in the wrong size due to an error the store personel made while ordering. After reordering the windows they came in the wrong size again.
