Evolutionary Prod
I have a complaint about a company called: Evolutionary Prod Inc., 4086 Glencoe Ave., Marina Del Rey, Ca. 90292-5608.
I saw an ad on Television for Rollup Car Covers. I ordered two covers for our vehicles. Upon recite we opened one and found it to be damaged. Without taking the other one out of the box we decided to return the covers for a full refund to my charge account.
The total of the bill was $183.80. The company gave a credit of $134.96, leaving a balance of $48.84 for shipping which I believe I should receive back because the... read full review »

CCN * Celebrity Smile
The company advertises a "free trial", and the customer pays just shipping . Once you receive the trial, the packing slip states that you only have use of the trial for 14 days. If you do not want the product you must pay shipping again and cancel a membership that you had no idea you joined in the first place. They will issue you a refund once they have received the unopened container less shipping and a 15% restocking fee. This advertiseing is very misleading. read full review »
Calphalon
Calphalon cookware is advertised as being the “best” available. With normal house hold use, the cook ware surface rapidly wore. Previous, nonstick Calphlon did not have the same problem. The company stated we incorrectly cleaned the cookware and refused to exchange or refund the purchase price. read full review »
ToGos Eatery
Approximately one month ago, I picked up a couple of sandwiches from ToGos Eatery. I paid with my debit card and left it there on the counter. I called the store about five minutes later and was told by the store manager that they had it and I could pick it up any time. I returned on two occasions to retrieve my card and was told that it was locked in the store safe and that no one present was able to get in to it.
The third time I returned for my card, I was told that it was not in the safe, but the manager was en route to the store and... read full review »

Pacific Stereos
I purchased a module I was told was required for my self install alarm for my automobile. Within 1 hr I learned they had mistakenly sold me the module and I did not require it for my model of vehicle. Pacific Stereos has a strict No Refund Policy written in fine print on their sales receipt... I bout a $129.00 module I did not need and even though they persuaded me to buy it and inadvertently didn't need it they refuse to return my money, offer me store credit. Buyers beware there are probably better places to be buying your auto electronics from that are not so unscrupulous. read full review »

Santa Anna, California 92704 A representative of RB Sports AKA Remsen Golf, offered me a deal whereas I could play differnet types of golf equipment on a 45 day trial. Oak Post Furniture
In June 2004 I ordered a bookcase and TV stand from Oak Post Furniture in Laurel, MD. When I called to track the order six weeks later, I was told the manufacturer had not delivered and I would have to wait until mid-November.
I just tried to reach Oak Post in Laurel and there was no answer. I continued to try calling all the other stores in Maryland and Virginia to find that all the numbers were no longer in service. Apparently they have gone out of business. I have paid them $345 which I suppose I must consider lost.

For several years we have had our heat pump and hot water heater serviced by Chuck Russo Heating and Air Conditioning in the Albany, New York area.
Within the last year he has become unreliable, continually breaking and canceling service appointments.

Hours after his expected arrival we called and reached him at which time he suggested "turn off the water to the house and your basement... read full review »

On Feb. 13, 2009 I placed an order with them for a cover for my cell phone. The item was to be shipped by ground with a total cost of shipping to be $4.00 bringing my total to $14.98. If you look at their website they specifically tell you they will contact you if the item is on backorder; by March 5th I still had not received my cover and no e-mail or phone call telling me that the item was on backorder and my credit card had already been charged. Pizza Hut
There were about six employees standing at the checkout register talking. We were the only ones there, a family of 5. We ate the salad bar only. No waitress would bother to come refill our drinks, the salad was brown because it was left over from the lunch crowd and we had to ask for plates, and they brought out the fresh salad as we were leaving after we ate. The tables were dirty because no one bothered to clear some of them, and some needed to be wiped down after they were cleared. The place was dirty read full review »
