I sent away for a CD regarding grant funding for $1.98. Soon after a charge of $29.95 appeared on my credit card. I was able to contact someone regarding this issue at the company. The number I called was 866-607-1071. They agreed to reimburse me one months charge but i would have to fill out paperwork for the 2nd month. Company claims to "train" medical transcriptionists and keep them on the hook by never allowing them to pass exams and be hired. Was told that I needed to buy a $149.00 rechargeable battery because the camera didn't come with one. When I refused, I was told that my order was cancelled. I responded to an add for a free 30 day sample for $6.95 cost shipping only. Now they are adding charges in the amount of $89.95. I called and got a very rude man who said I had agreed to the other charges and there was nothing I could do about it. I just recently watched the new commercial for Schick Quattro "Trim Style" for women. It features a razor and a bikini trimmer, but the compares a women shaving her most intimate areas to "Trimming a bush." Why are the Housing Authorities here in Utah allowing sweet old ladies rent 2 bedroom apartments but they tell married couples that they only need one bedroom even when one using machines to help them sleep that are NOISY. The ladies claim that they can't live in a 1 bedroom unit because they need a craft room. Last a knew a craft room wasn't considered a medical issue but sleep apnea is. The company came out to fix two torsion springs that broke and charged us 496.55. The invoice only states that " 2 Springs adjusted". There was no breakdown as to what we were being charged for. As a women, I did not question the repair man of the cost and would have no idea at the time what a torsion spring would run for. I purchased a Jack LaLanne express juicer and not to long afterwards the blade/filter broke leaving m unable to use. I have been trying to get the part for over a year and kept being told that it would be shipped within 30 days. After the 30 days I wouldget another notice saying the same thing. Either I or may Bank made a mistake, and sent my mortgage payment of 774.52 to Comed, and my $48 electic payment to the mortgage company. So all I asked was Comed to give me bakc the money that was mistakenly sent to them. This happen on 2/13/2009. I had 2 dogs in an apartment at Camden Palisades. The only reason to live in this overpriced hellhole was the fact that they allowed large dogs. I paid $600 in UP FRONT FEES before moving in, along with a $250 security deposit. Apparently the fees are just for the priviledge of the dogs to live in this dump. After we moved out, they refunded most of the deposit and then a few days later, received a bill for $400 to replace the carpet.
