I bought an Airlines tickets from Lowest-Ticket.com. An Agency who claims to sell tickets for various Airlines. I made a reservation through them, but did not pay right away. I called United Airlines to conformed my reservation so that I could not be a victim and the Airlines told me that the reservation was validated. So I went and purchased the tickets. This company charges a $3 fee for paying online using a credit card. I had heard that this was illegal, so I contacted my credit card company (MasterCard), which told me it was illegal 99.9% of the time, leaving the .1% to a payment arrangement through a third party agent. In this age of technology and automated payment software, I would think this is not only unethical, but unfair. I attempted to return an item which was the incorrect one due to seller error. I ended up paying $10 for shipping to and from the seller's address because they rejected the shipment. Valorebooks did refund me my money, but did not do anything to recover the shipping expenses I wasted from the seller. This company is just about the worst I have ever encountered. I waited more than a month for A/C in the height of Houston's hot summer. This was the second new one that these idiots paid for because they wouldn't let the first A/C man install a cover that was compliant with the new A/C he installed. We bought a 50' inch Sony Wega from PC Richards with the extended warrenty about 3 years ago. For some reason the tv would turn off by itself, then wouldn't turn on at all. My daughter and I attempted to utilize the free 30-day trial promotional advertisement for MileyWorld.com included with our purchase of the disk. Upon membership completion, I received an automatic email indicated my credit card had been deducted $29.95. We were not given our 30-day trial as indicated within the promotional material and membership material was distributed that we did not request or want.
