Timeshare Users Group
Rourke February 9, 2009
I joined this website, 'TUG', for the sole purpose of warning its members about the fraudulent practices of a company I used to work for, Universal Marketing Solutions, in Delray Beach, FL. I felt compelled to warn all timeshare owners who check this company out on the internet, with the hope that they will be spared the grief of being ripped-off as many already have been. Also, I've been able to post valuable information about the company and its personnel, along with appropriate reporting measures (names of local... read full review »

Eagle Star Insulation
Vicky February 9, 2009
This company installed their product three years ago in our attic. Recently, we had some electrical work done and had to have a couple of large holes cut in the ceiling. When I stood on a ladder and stuck my head into the attic, I was horrified to find that there was no radiant barrier in attic above the entire dining room. I then looked in another hole and found that there was no radiant barrier in the attic above the entire living room and only a small section of the kitchen had the barrier. As it turns out, only the front part of the house... read full review »

Survey Broker
Terence February 9, 2009
For $39.95, they will send you a list of companies that will pay you for surveys. They claim that you will recoup your fee after the first two surveys completed. They offer an 8 week money back guarantee. I have not received a survey that pays over fifty cents, and the one that paid $.50 took 45 minutes to complete. Most all the surveys received are for a 'chance' to win a given amount of money. Others are for points that can add up to purchase a gift. Most pay about 100 points for a 30-45 minute survey, but it takes a minimum... read full review »

Petland Orlando South
Massy February 9, 2009
I bought this dog from Petland just over a year ago and when I brought the dog home it came home it ended up having kennel cough and then things just got worse from there and I had to take the dog to the animal hospital on an emergency because the dog almost died. When my husband confronted the manager at the store, he was told because we didn't take the dog to their vet, that's why they cannot reimburse us any money. My question is: if the dog was on it's death bed, do you think I have time to drive an hour away to take the dog to their vet??? That's great customer service!!! read full review »

ACAI Slimming Diets
hstndragonfly February 9, 2009
A couple of weeks ago I saw an add in the internet advertising the ACAI Slimming Diet pills. I thought WOW, Rachel Ray, Oprah and other well known people are actually recommending this new diet company to us the people. The add stated that if I just paid $1.95 for shipping to recieve a bottle of ACAI diet pills I would recieve them with in 7 days and there would be NO commitment. Well after reviewing my account, I realized there was a #79.95 since charge to my acount. I did not know who would charge my account since I never authorized anything... read full review »

Walmart tires
ann collins February 9, 2009
Hello, my name is Ann Collins (female). I use walmart for almost all of my shopping needs for home or work. I have had new tires put on my 3 ton truck, and had to jump thru hoops to get that done. It was a pain to wait in 2 different lines. One out side and then inside... But my biggest problem was when I need to get my trailor tire replaced. I was told I would have to take the tire off my self because they would not..hum.. really silly dont ya think. Did I mention I am a FEMALE. Plus, a trailor weighs 600lbs, and a car weighs 3 tons or more... read full review »

I am so disgusted with your company. I wrote to you last month asking you to cancel this and you informed me that it would be taken care of. However, I received my bank statement this month and you have charged me once again in the amount of $19.95. I waited on the phone for 40 minutes and no one picked up. What kind of company does business like this? Please cancel this immediately and DO NOT charge my account ever again. [email protected] read full review »

Life Fit
Kennedy February 9, 2009
Life Fit Sleep Aids are a total scam!!! I ordered their 'Free' trial offer and received a bill with it for $34.95--for a future order I didn't want. I called them saying I did not want the future order, and they told me to send the trial back unopened. I did send it back unopened via certified mail. Now I have proof that they DID get my trial order back within the 15-day trial period--but they STILL hit my credit card up for $34.95. (What did I get for my money? Absolutely nothing!) It gets worse. I received a... read full review »

I was also a victim of the Salute Visa Gold Card. They canceled my card with no advance warning and now they are calling me 2-3 times a day telling me I am past due on my account and are adding on $35 late fees, they also took a phone payment from me and told me no charges would be added if I paid it that day. Well here comes my statement and I have a $12 phone payment fee added to it as well as a $35 late fee. I thought they were a pretty good credit card company until they pulled this. Idearc Media Pay Per Click
Pamela Jo Hatley February 9, 2009
A salesman for Idearc Media convinced me to sign up for onine superpages advertising using "pay per click." Over the first few months of advertising the charges seemed extremely high, but I received absolutely NO corresponding increase in business inquiries. I finally decided to "suspend" advertising. I called the company to discuss my account and was informed by a person in the billing department that my account had been charged for a large number of "bad clicks." There is never any proof that services rendered are actually done. Whether it is for the monthly subscription fee or paying for a track on a CD for supposed TV/Film opportunities. Last week I made a purchase of BMW X5 2005 with low miles (still warranty left) from these guys. The main person I death with financing and sales is Ricky. I did internet search for good prices and they came out to be one of the lowest or very competitive. That got me to their door. Thinking I am getting a deal, here is how I didn't get a deal but I will say that eventually out the door cost was competitive to the going rate. So I don't feel at least conned completely. Sizzy February 9, 2009
In February 1999 I went to bankruptcy under Chapter 7 and after that I spent years covering my living expenses straight out of my paychecks, now I'm told that Providian issued a credit card on my name. It wasn't until a few months ago that I got from my Bank (Washington Mutual) a credit line for $500.00. and I felt motivated to repair my credit. I made some advance, then, suddenly my score was lowered by 7 points and soon I understood why: I was defaulted for a delinquent account I never requested or used. TuneClub.com
Samanta February 9, 2009
Looking for a special ring-tone for my new cell phone, I surfed the net and found tuneclub. After entering my information and password to register, I got trapped into a whirlwind of text messages. I really wanted to hear the sound of a few, so I accepted the $9.99 charge for a month of a specialty ring tone. After the registration was accepted, I found my model of phone does not accept additional ring-tones. I sent an e-mail to them requesting cancellation and refund. Tuneclub canceled my subscription promptly, however they denied refunding my money. Under the circumstances, I believe they ought to give back my hard earned $9.99. read full review »
