JacobsParts Inc.
Bernard March 16, 2009
In June of 2008, the AC adapter for my Toshiba Laptop failed. This wasn't exactly a surprise as in my experience, everything from Toshiba has a VERY short life. As I looked through Google for a new adapter (Toshiba had already stolen enough of my money with all of the out of warranty fixes I needed, and there was no way that I would shell out another 80 dollars to them if I could help it) when I came across Jacobs Parts Inc. I decided to get my charger on their Online store. It worked fine until a few months later when I went to... read full review »

I went to jantzen beach to get cigarettes, my home care provider was driving due to my dissabillity. we could not find a handicapped parking space, so she pulled up against the wall next to the dumpster without obstructing any vehicles coming or going. I have parked there in the past and have seen other cars parked there. We saw no signs, and we were only going to be a minute. When we got out of the car, there was a man standing ther talking on his cell phon. by the way my arm is in a sling and I use a 4 post cane due to my disability. I also... read full review »

Tanya March 16, 2009
The info i saw on the internet was for free government grant writing. Just pay the s&h charge which was 1.95. This led me to believe that i was going to receive paper work in the mail. I didn't discover the unauthorized charges until I went to the bank to obtain a cash advance. I then called g360 to find out they charged me 57.61 for first month membership plus one time fee 38.21 for a reference guide i new nothing about in addition to 1.95. On March 11, 2009 a made a local call from a pay phone at the courthouse and the pay phone would not take my change I put in the phone. I dialed the operator for assistance and used my debit card. When i checked my bank statement I noticed 2 charges on my bill from a telecommunications company. Since the transactions were still pending i decided to wait to see if they would drop off my account and finally a charge was on my account or $46.63 for a .50 cent phone call. Continental Lenders
Merdok March 16, 2009
On March 5 09 I was told that I would be receiving a loan for $9, 000. I sent them fees and money for security. After two days went by I contacted the company only to find that no one would answer the phone. After sending faxes to the company I still haven't received a call. So I contacted the attorney generals office and told them what was going on. That is when I found out that this was bogus. Now I am out $1, 100. If anyone else has had any contact with this company beware they are not a real company. You will lose and never... read full review »

Survey-Brokers.com
Barney March 16, 2009
I signed up for Survey-Brokers.com because they advertised they had a list of only the best paying surveys. If .50cents is the best I would hate to see the worst. That is what most of the surveys I received was paying. (without having to buy something.) I even went to the all cash surveys and the only way to make money doing these surveys is to sign up for free trials of whatever the company sells and of course you have to pay for shipping and then you have to remember to cancel before you are charged again. I did not see this fact... read full review »

Sure Heat Manufacturing

We purchased a new grill in October of 08. Anxious to get in some grilling time before the snow flies, we came home and started to put it together only to discover that the four main bolts of the grill connecting the top to the bottom were missing. We contacted Sure Heat MFG right away and were assured that the parts would be out in ten days. NOT! Called three more times, and heard how sorry they were about the 'mix up' and the parts were in the mail. To date, 3/14/09 we have received absolutely NOTHING from this company. Gehringer Automotive
Chuck March 16, 2009
The owners name is Chris and he is from Portugal, he was a partner in this shop and cheated Mr Gehringer out of his share. Chris then started to buy and sell cars wholesale and started to cheat there too by not paying the people he bought the cars from. Furthermore he cheats a buyer by rolling back the odometer and when he sells it he signs the form 'actual mileage unknown' to protect himself. Also he is known to remove parts from a Mercedes, BMW and replace them with inferior parts. There is a body shop next door who hide... read full review »

I spent around $1000 with this company to order parts for my 1979 Trans Am. One of the parts I ordered was a headliner. I specifically said I needed a headliner for a 1979 Trans Am. They shipped a headliner for a 1970-1974 Trans Am which is nothing like what I needed. I called them to tell them they made an error and I would need to exchange it. They told me I had to pay to ship it back to them and then pay to ship the correct headliner to me. I called this morning and spoke with 'Joe', the Manager. The first flight we could get out was from Idaho Falls, Idaho, January 4, 2009. We were forced to rent a car and drive to Idaho and spend 2 nights in a hotel. They said that they had no record of this. In the 10 yrs that I had the ring, we brought it into the Shane co. at least 10 times to be cleaned and twice, repaired. I'm no math major, but I believe the total for my order should be $23.98...I just got an email order confirmation and it looks like they've charged me $47.96!!! I called the 800# to cancel my order and guess what?! I sit on hold for about 10 minutes and then get disconnected! The first time I though it was a fluke but I've called three times now. We purchased all of our appliances, totaling around $18k, for a custom home we were building. Because I was purchasing the appliances months before they were to be installed, the sales manager told me the appliance warranties won't begin until I receive my Certificate of Occupancy and move in. Fendi wallet (M80031) received was inconsistent with the wallet photographed on the company's website. The website indicates that its products are '100% Authentic Guaranteed'. Upon consultation I discovered that the product shipped appears to be a counterfeit. I am also a victim of extremespells. When my spells didn't work, and I made my request for a refund, I got the total run-around. Robert insisted that I use the 'free' reinforcement spell, however, he failed to mention that by using this free reinforcement (which I did not use), you automatically forfeit your eligibility for a refund. I purchased a LED under the counter light set consisting of four light 'pucks' each containing 24 individual LEDs. The package said the product was warranted for 2 years. Within 2-3 months, two of the pucks had gone out. The set costs approximately $25 at Costco, but since I could not find the original receipt, Lights of America would not replace the bad 'pucks'. Albert Moving subcontracted a packing and loading job for our move with ABF trucking company.
