I got a trial of a product and upon receipt found in the small print what would be charged me if I didn't cancel the product. I immediatley cancelled and was told to keep the trial and no further charges would be made. NOT TRUE! I discovered a charge to my debit card today and called the company. They would only credit me $60.00 of the $80.00. What a scam!!! This company out-right lied to me and I had taken the right away from them to bill any charges to my mastercard! I'm making this complaint in behalf of my wife who a few months back subscribed to the Game Saver service of receiving a computer game a month for $6.95 each. There is no problem getting the games on a monthly basic but so far our credit card gets charged twice for every game received. It's next to impossible to talk to a person to correct this problem. I've been a customer of truecredit since 2002. Today, I learned that they had significantly change my service without first notifying me. In my view, this practice is unacceptable, poor customer service, and a just bad business practice. The service I originally had with the company allowed me access to all 3-credit reports (TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax) and credit scores at anytime and as often as I wished, with only one monthly charge. in November 2007 got an estimate for a Screen Enclosure of $4500. Gave Elite a down payment for $1500 to install when we returned to Florida. We requested an installation in November/December of 2008. When we called (sent letters to Elite) they told us that they won't honor the quote and wanted $6500. We asked for our down payment back (no acknowlegement to our letters) via phone, they tolds us that they would. They responed back to the better busness bureau the same - the down payment would be returned. It is more than 30 days since we asked for the monies. On my second visit I was disregarded and made to wait for services over 2 and 1/2 hrs even though I went several times to the front desk.The office staff all they care about is making sure the office and they get paid. After that they just sit their and gossip all day in spanish, not one member of the office team apologize for the wait and or the inconvience they put us thru because I observed it was not only me this was happening too. I purchased a 32 inch vizio television a little over a year ago, I was given a one year warranty. After a little over a year the power supply conked out. I talk to several customer service employees including a person from the corporate office by the name of Andrew McGehen of the corporate office. This gentelmen was even more condescending then his customer service employees. The company does not refund monies "without penalty" as stated by their salespersons. They tell you that they sell a helath insurance policy that covers 100% of hospital costs. They fail to tell you that this is 100% of THEIR CODED VALUE! My Sister in Law returned from india and al always clothing item were missing. This happens every time we trave to India. It undermine airport security and Indiam folks as a peace loving honest community. It shows that trave to india is hit or miss. This company needs to be investigated. In the meantime, buyer beware! Make sure you read all the fine print. I didn't realize when I ordered my "free sample, pay shipping only" product that I was signing up for automated monthly delivery for a product that doesn't do a thing! Lessoned learned. If it sounds to good to be true, it is! I cancelled my order today. When you call to cancel, make sure you ask for a confirmation number. I did.
