Ordered Detox patches from an email that we received. Was to be charged only shipping costs. Got the item and the packing slip shows a total cost of $4.96. We were debited $54.94 on our card. I was given a Spavia giftcard (value $45) by a friend of mine in celebration of the birth of my child and for a little post-baby indulgence. Excitedly, I called to make an appointment and spoke to the front desk lady (Lily). I requested an appointment for both me and my friend, which Lily made and then proceeded to advise me that in order to book an appointment I would need to guarantee it with a c/card. When I called to get my number back, 'James' said they had to take the service off their website because of new laws. When I said they were frauds, he said "I told you that I will refund you!" ATT customer services has gone to the DOGS, I just left ATT repair cent in Hurst, TX where usually I get excellent service, I just don't like having to take time out of my day to return a phone for the fourth time, but it is worst when you're told that you returned the only once back in Aug. The products sold are cheap and this one didn't work but where they really get you is the postage. Anything you buy connected to the product is an "up grade" but you have to pay postage on each piece. My wife bought a drill and attachment that dig up ground for you to plant bulbs. It cost $57.00 to get the product to her, but only $19.90 to send it back, which they would not pay for. When she turned the drill on smoke came out and it burned up. Scholastic Books sends books to homes of people that did not order them or sends no books at all and then sends bills for these books that you never ordered or received in the first place. When you don't pay, they send bogus collection letters from North Shore Agency. I found out on the Internet that North Shore Agency in this case is little more than the company that sends a letter from Scholastic to make it look more official and intimidating. Despite never missing a payment, always paying triple the minimum due and having a 740 credit rating they more then tripled my rate from 7.9 to 23.9%. Philips warranties these lamps for 90 days but the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on ! I installed this bulb in late August, it failed last Tuesday. Neither it's distributor or the company will take responsibility, the dealer Partstore.com, won't honor it past 30 days. I complained to both and was told too bad. I recieved an "award claim notification" from secured financial award inc. The letter enclosed a check to pay the taxes to the irs and insurance to cover the delivery through fed-ex. When I deposited the checkwhich was through a real bankmy husband has credit cards with, so I thought this was real. I did wait to try and clear the check before spending any of the money. We started a business relation, he would sell me brand new cell phones in a legitimate way, with invoice and everything, from his supposedly legitimate company (Prometheus Communications Corporation). I vistied the Jennifer one hour after my sleeper sofa was delivered to complain about 4 issues. One the speical mattress i paid extra for was filthy and ink all over it, bent and not recoverable, spring to bed not callibrated to lay flat and lastly the seat cushions do not line up with the back of the sofa, there is a big gap. They told me at the store they would have a tehnician call me...no one ever did and the salesperson was more interested in selling the next person...his words " there is nothing more i can do for you"... My sister took her wedding dress to be dry cleaned at One Price Cleaner in Melville, NY. She was told to pay $95.00 in advance, she did so but when she went back to the cleaner to pick up her dress; it wasn't cleaned. She complained and requested a refund but the cleaner owner refused to do so. The company and its owner jim van blaricum running a fraude oil drilling company. Was presented a plan where I will get back my capital in 12 month. I invested 280K and in the first 2 years, received total of 20K. Then, the last year no payments. The company has ceased in Denver. Jim, the owner nowhere to be found.
