Foolishly, I agreed to a Kirby demonstration by a door to door salesman from Kirby (Ray). After 2+ hours of demonstration, I told him, I was out of time and (8 PM) he needed to proceed with the shampooing. He called his boss, (Aaron) who came to give the hard sell. I explained very carefully that though the product is fine, I did not plan to buy one at this time, regardless of price or trade in. (I have an older Kirby, works fine.) This salesman continued his sales pitch. Ultimately Aaron walked out about 8:30 and Ray refused to shampoo the carpet because they could not finish their sales pitch. My family and I had gone to KFC for dinner on June 7. When we got there, we waited in line for a few minutes before we received any service. The employees just stood around doing nothing, but made us wait anyways. I received a coffee maker in December for Christmas. As of June 7th it is no longer working. I look in the owners manual and it states that "it is under warranty for two years from the date of purchase, return it to any Sears store or other Kenmore outlet in the United States." I bought a 2000 VW Beetle and purchased an extended warranty w/the vehicle. Recently my engine blew and I had my repair facility contact Great Lakes. They said they'd send out an independent inspector to check out the car. He/she said that a $20 radiator hose cause the engine to blow and that part wasn't covered, therefore they wouldn't pay for the engine. I couldn't believe it. I was treated very rudely this morning when I went in for gas on the way to work. There was a cashier (who was appropriate) and a clerk standing next to the cashier. I have been trying to get Pool Town for Over 30 days to come back to my property to finish work they have started. A mountain of dirt has yet to be removed, grounding wires left exposed, construction debris, left unattended. Had a meal at Sisley's in Valencia. We needed to get going and told the waitress not bring us the dessert tray. She apologized and said that she had to or she would be fired. I brought my car in for repair service to have the front seat cover replaced and to have them replace my sun visor bumpers that have fallen off. I've owned this car less than a month. I purchased it used with 16000+ miles on it. The car is still under factory warranty & I also purchased the extended warranty they offer at this dealership. I recently bought a grill for my husband for his birthday July 10th, the next day July 11th it caught fire the hose and couplings had leaks so the gas under the grill caught fire. This company is a FRAUD and has no idea how to treat customers. I have been trying to email and call them and they wont return any. He was suppose to paint a house. He left the plates off all the A/C vents, didn't finish a room, paint was not the right color and I believe he didn't buy the paint but "borrowed" it from his last job. He also took 6 months to do the job. Yes, 6 months which other contractors would finish in 6 days. The leather on the sofa we purchased began splitting and shredding within a few months of delivery. We complained to the store and they told us to purchase a leather conditioner and all would be fine. But it only got worse. We again complained to Plummers and they told us we would need to contact the manufacturer, Actona Co. I emailed my complaint to Actona and they replied that Plummers was not a customer of theirs and I should go back to the retailer. I purchased expensive IPCW L.E.D. taillights for my Chevy pickup. The IPCW taillights were shipped to me direct from IPCW. Once installed the IPCW taillights did not work and were DEFECTIVE. I sent the IPCW taillights back to IPCW at my own expense asking for replacements. IPCW sent another set which also was DEFECTIVE. 2 for 2 DEFECTIVE. After my dog had received a bath at Vickie's, I noticed scabs all over her back. I called Vickie and asked her if she checked dogs for fleas, and she assured me she did. My transmission is slipping to the point where the car does not move. I had it towed to a dealer where they contacted Penn Warranty which I have never used since I purchased it in 10/05 and they said they would need a diagnostics done and would have to know what parts exactly need to be replaced. Penn Warranty does not pay for diagnostics even though they request them.
