Two golf reservations for 2 people were placed with San Diego Golf Reservations (858-456-8300) on February 19 at a charge of $198 for each reservation. I recently received a bill stating that I purchased an "Insider Pass" for 14.95 from an online purchase, under an odd 877-498-7283 number. When I looked up what the number was it was a hidden charge fee for "free shipping" from Newport-News.com. I think this is completely absurd because first of all I never got any Free Shipping whatsoever. And even if I did-they actually "secretly" charge you for it. I will never again own a GE refridgerator, even if it were free. My side by side is 2, repeat TWO years old and cost $1300. One year and One day old, the water dispenser died and cost $150 to repair. About two weeks ago I contacted Embarq service to inquire as to why my dsl service was now operating at the slow speed of dial-up tho I pay for hi speed dsl. Tech support had no solution for this problem, except to cut off and restart my modem. This had no effect at all. But just today I received an "offer" from Embarq to provide an increase in speed---for an additional $5.00 per month. I smell a rat and and a scam by Embarq.
