With Christmas season here, I wanted to send a word of warning regarding Samsung televisions. My husband purchased me a 32" LCD Television on 12/20/2005 for Christmas at a cost of over $1,800.00. I have had cabinets installed by home depot, pull out of existing cabinets started november 13th. Cabinet install on november 15th finishing the next day. The following day, we began to put our kitchen back together when we noticed a puddle of water on floor under dishwasher and all along wall of new cabinets. I recently received a letter from Afni, Inc indicating that I owe 111.28 for a verizon account that they claim I owe since 1998. It has been 10 years so I do not have any recollection of this bill but I can say I never received a bill prior to moving. I am rather surprised that I am being charged for a bill that is 10 years old. I have no proof that I actually owe this money. When I purchased the DVD in June, 2007, I was only charged the shipping of $3.95. I've noticed a deduction from my account of $59.95 per month since then. When I called the company and told them I had not authorized the deductions and I wanted them reversed, I was told that it was impossible. I was told that this was noted in the "service agreement". They did reverse one charge, however, I'm still out 4 payments. This company is denying a claim without FULLY investigating the accident. They did not contact all witnesses that are stated on the police report. After speaking to the adjuster, Dee Monaco, she informed me that she was denying the claim due to conflicting stories between both parties. We are going on two months without any hopes of having our Sears, Kenmore washer repaired. Our Kenmore washer quit, so we called for warranty repair. Two weeks later a repairman finally came. I contracted with this company owned by Frank Venezia to install energy-saver windows. He came out on9-12-07 to measure for the windows. I had a $49.95 dollar coupon that ended up $4,518 dollars. I told him I was a first time home buyer and that he could be ripping me off. The technician told me if he did half the job I would run the risk of the furnace breaking down and it would cost me 10-15 thousand to get a new one. I purchased a pre-owned Nissan from South Coast Acura in January 2007. I paid cash for the car and paid cash for a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. In November 2007, the car broke down out of state. I am disgusted in the service you receive from calling Xbox360 Call center. 0508555592. I have had to get my Xbox360 repaired twice.
