On Nov. 17,2007, purchased a simmons mattress set from ashley furniture for 1091.00. The sales rep never informed us that there was a no exchange or refund policy on the mattresses. While attempting to use a never opened Blockbuster Gift Certificate my wife and I were told by the frightened store employee that it had no money on it (it was void). Now we opened the card in front of the employee and had never used it. He offered reluctantly to contact his Manager (whom I assumed was in the store). This store has one big plus which is that it sells beef that is from hormone free cattle and at competitive pricing. The store on Saturday night had quite a few clerks but few customers. My complaint is that not one clerk said hello or offered any assistance. The checker was too busy balling out the poor bagger to even say "Thank you" to me. I have been shopping at the Von's Northridge Store (Reseda and Nordhoff) for 24 years. I am a regular customer. On November 25, 2007 I conducted my weekly grocery shopping. I purchased a mattress and box springs April 2003 from a local Bed Outlet. It was a Marsala Plush set with low profile Box. I was in #7243 i am a hotwheel collector and found a very hard to find car and paid for it, i didn't think it would be that hard to put all my items in the bag since i only had 4 things. I am a costumer of American Home Mortgage and have like many others fallen behind on my mortgage. I have worked on this with my mortgage company so that we don't fall behind. We bought a Martha Stewart 9ft Aspen Mountain Christmas tree when we got it home there was a strand of lights that wouldn't work. This store has a history of selling food that that has either expired or gone bad. Over the past year I have made at least 6 complaints to Save Mart management. I listened to my new Josh Groban cd and did not care for his singing style. I tried to return the cd to the Kmart to get a different cd of the same value or more and they would not do anything about it. Even the store manager said that nothing could be done. Our mortgage loan is with American Servicing Company (a.k.a. Wells Fargo) and over the past two years our relationship with this company has been less than favorable. We fell behind on our payments and though the situation did not require legal assistance we are now also paying legal fees on top of our mortgage and escrow payment. Southwest Airlines policy at stated on their website is that children between the ages of 5 to 11 flying unaccompanied by an adult will be preboarded and identified to the flight attendant as such. The good news: My Frigidaire sidebyside compressor failed one week before the warranty expired. The bad news: Warranty service is in the hands of A & E Factory Service. I had to wait several days (called Monday morning - appointment was for Thursday 1-5p.m.) before a technician could come out & verify that the compressor was bad. I signed up with Data Entry Jobs and all they wanted me to do was give them personal information and try to get me to sign up for other things. Within 30 minutes of finding this out, I asked for my money back. Their policy says 60 day money back guarantee.
