We bought our Janda leather lounge suite thinking that buying an expensive one ($5000) would last us many many years. This used to be a wonderful luxury hotel; we had gone there for years and my husband had great memories of it when he was growing up. I purchased crickets modem during a promo. The sales clerk explained that thr first month would be free and I would get a $59.00 rebate. I never received the rebate because I did not keep the modem on for more than 30 days. That was not explained to me that I had to keep it on for 30 days to receive it. I've heard this company has been sued and they have filed for bankruptcy. I'm not surprised if this is how they treat their customers: 1. I called Dell Support after 12 months had passed and they would not replace my battery. Do Dell batteries only last about a year? In August 2009, I contracted with Best Credit Repair Man to remove negative information from my Experian and Transunion credit reports. I paid the full service fee of $500. They were unable to remove the negative information, and on June 15, 2010, I contacted them via email and first class mail requesting a refund. I have not received a response. After you request a refund, they become very hard to get in touch with. I filed a complaint with the BBB. As of today, they have not responded to the BBB. This company is a hotbed of unprofessional behavior, offering in-home health caregivers that fall asleep on the job, smoke marijuana and drink alcohol before their shift, and sit around when they should be providing services. They treat their employees terribly, select unqualified employees to administer very important services, and cheat their caregivers out of money. They also offer an untactful staff that will talk to you sans any sort of social skills and kindness, which should be the staple of a supposedly compassionate company. Not informed of horrible no refund, no return policy. Sales associates do not verbally inform you of the policy even after assisting you in the store. Basically, if you buy a gift for someone and they do not find anything else in the store they like you cannot receive store credits, exchanges, or refunds. You have 14 days to attempt to obtain store credit but even within 14 days no refunds are given. No other high end clothing store has these practices that I'm aware of.
