Corexit
TomRatcher August 2, 2010
I was a manager at a sales office a while back. We peddled a product called Corexit that was a powerful cleaning agent of some sort. I never really got the details straight about what the stuff actually did since I only managed the office. It was up to the salespeople to read up on everything and repeat what they learned to our clients. I spent most of my time in my office on the second floor of our little building on the highway. If you came into town from the south and weren't taking the interstate, there's a good chance that you... read full review »

Skullcandy ink'd earbuds
Rickh123456 August 2, 2010
The left earbud does not function property. The volume, while playing normally through the right earbud, is barely audible in the left earbud. Also, the unit did not come with the original packaging, and appears to be "used" although it was advertised as new. I contacted the seller who promised a replacement; however, that was 20 days ago and they have ignored all follow-ups. read full review »

Vodafone India - Mumbai
ZEH August 2, 2010
I'm writing to you in utter frustration, I had bought this tel. SIM 2 to 3 years ago for my use while I was in Bombay. I could receive calls on this SIM but could not make any calls out with this chip. In May I went to your Churchgate office & spoke to a Mr. Dilip Smith who told me that the Sim was fine and my phone was faulty!!! The very phone that works during my international travel faultlessly, I just have to change it for the country chip. I requested him to cancel my account so I do not receive bills for Rs. 54.00 per month. He... read full review »

CMIN August 2, 2010
I bought a brand new HP printer..loaded it up with paper (less than the 80 sheets recommended) and the tray broke. When I called their service department (apprently in India) it took 25 minutes to register my claim folled by a request to call back. I called back after another 25 minutes repeating myself they told me they wouldnot stand behind their product. appently they felt it was a manufacturers defect that the tray broke. When I spoke ot Best buy..they said after 14 days I had to deal with HP. Apparently both of them don't want any futurte business from me! read full review »

Hallmark channel
pinkdout August 2, 2010
I am deaf and depend on the close-captioning for my movie enjoyment. I have been using the close-captioned device since it was invented. When I see there is a movie I would like to see on the Hallmark channel, this feeling of dread just comes over me because either the captioning is not working or what the words are being said is not simultaneous to what is being shown. In other words, the captioning is ahead of what's actually happening. I love watching the Hallmark movies and it's always a sure thing that something is not going to... read full review »

Charter Communications internet, phone, cable TV
MadisonWi200 August 2, 2010
My 90 year old mother has a bundle package with Charter paying $140/month for a two year contract. Charter offered a $100 bundle without the premium channels. So my mother opted to cancel and go with the cheaper bundle even with the $150 penalty she would save in the long run. On her next bill Charter not only did not give her the less expensive package but started charging her $60/month more than before. So far, Charter, after hours on the phone with charter, and after many lies, I have gotten nowhere. Charter is a den of... read full review »

Barclays US Juniper
juniper interest August 2, 2010
I entered a balance transfer agreement with Juniper in 08, for 0 percent interest on the balance transfer, for the length of the loan, providing payments made on time. Two months ago the company informed me the agreement expired, and are now charging me a significantly higher interest rate. They also state that I entered the agreement one year after I did. After daily requests, via phone and fax, they still haven't sent me the original contract language, or the alleged new agreement I allegedly entered with them in 2009. San Diego Union Tribune
bruce swartz August 2, 2010
A sad state of affairs for The Union Tribune in San Diego. The Union Tribune is the only large newspaper in San Diego. They have no competition and yet they are barely surviving. The newspaper has to cut back on their staff with a number of them being fired. The VP has replaced these positions and others with companies outside the state of California and even as far away as Panama City, Panama. So If you have a question for The Union tribune you better polish up on your spanish as it is very difficult to understand their English. That is a... read full review »

A week later the engine light stayed on again and I took it in to see what the problem was this time. Renae, who claims to be the store 'manager' at Big Lots #4485 (90th and Bangerter) kicked my kids out of the store because my 14 year old daughter was not using a chair to her standards, and then got 'mouthy' in her opinion. Stay away from this company. They are either extremely incompetent or they are trying to use cheap trick to steal your money. Decks Plus
allrightnow August 2, 2010
Horrible customer service. They act like they are being put out by having to build you a deck, gets very defensive when you question any part of their work. Often promised to be here on a day to work...never called or showed up. Deck took twice the amount of time to build than promised. They purchased additional items to use on the deck, and only used half of the items on my deck, saving the rest for their next job, but they charged me for everything (and will probably do the same to the next customer). Promised to follow up and fix issues with completed deck today and never called or showed up. read full review »

SCAM - Cloudpay - No, its not a scam
Dan1965 August 2, 2010
I was told by a friend who's in banking that this might be a scam - I'd just signed up with them and was discussing it with him. I searched the net but couldn't find anything about them at the time, good or bad. I only came here out of curiosity today after someone else said they thought it was a scam too. Although I was worried at first, they've done everything they said they would. I couldn't get a card processing facility from my bank - but Cloudpay sorted one out for me. I've not had any problems with them so far. read full review »
