Went in to Jackson Automotive & Perforance Center to have my timing belt, water pump and ect, done. Steve Jackson said my water pump was fine and I didnt need a new one. After I got my car back from them a few days later it was stalling out, so I took my car to another shop where they said I needed a new water pump because it was leaking coolant and had residue that it had been leaking for awhile. I recently had my truck repaired by O C Welch which has been a horrible experience. They charged me over $4000.00 to replace the head gaskets. With in two weeks of picking up the truck there was an oil leak appearing out of the head. O C told me to take it to my local Ford dealer to get it repaired. The mechanic told me that it was an obvious issue that should have been repaired by O C and that it would cost around $3000.00 to repair it. I reserved a car for 3 days for approx. 35 EUR. I held my confirmation in my hands going to the pick-up counter in DUB Airport.
When I wanted to collect the car, the member of staff showed me an agreement stating more than EUR 120, 00 (!).
Without asking me, she added a "gas package", paying for a full amount of gas that I didnt request (which is -by the way - much more expensive than just driving to a gas station before dropping the car).

After paying Meineke $350 to replace front rotors and brake pads, the new pads wore out in 2 months. I went back to Meineke and they said this was not normal...I was driving too hard (these were 1 year warranty brake pads). After a lengthly debate they agreed to turn the rotors and install new pads. 2 months later...same problem. Now they say the calipers are sticking and rotors are cannot be turned again. I went to put air in my tires this morning and found that I was having trouble staying crouched like that since I am 7 months pregnant. I asked the cashier if there was someone who could help me and she said yes and told me to wait outside. After 10 minutes, and no attendant, I went inside to see if someone was coming to help me. I was suckered into buying one of these contracts through Service Protection Direct/Mepco/Texan Partners. I canceled within the first 30 days and was charged almost $400 dollars, I will not see that money for another month. They made it very difficult to cancel the contract giving at least 7 different customer service numbers to cancel with, and also making you notify them in writing with a notarized letter of the cancellation. This is by far the worst shipping experince i have ever had... I order a gym set from step 2 for my little boy and Saia was the delivery company used (Big Mistake)! I was supposed to recieve my order on 4/14 then it was cancelled and rescheduled for 4/15. I was told it would be about noon when it arrived and that I had to be here to sign for delivery. Took car in for a routine maintenance. I was asked if want to join a club with them and that I would be eligible for discounts. I said sure and filled the brief paperwork and proceeded to wait for the job to be done. While waiting for my car I started to really look through the paper work that they had given me. Bought a used vehicle from Baron Auto Mall. The Baron's did everything in their power to avoid their responsibility in selling a roadsafe vehicle to the consumer. I picked up some new tires for my custome wheels. Tires seemed okay and the people seemed like they new what was going on. Well they did;nt. First of all these wheels cost me over $3, 000 and they damaged all 4 of them and now are saying that they will only take repair 3 because one of them had a scratch on it. They opened my sunroof before sending the car through the wash cycle. I noticed it when it was one-half way through the wash "tunnel" and informed the nearest car pool personnel. They stopped the wash and closed the sunroof.
The end result is the that the front seats are stained with large marks - now that they are dry it is obvious that they are stained. I had purchased a car at Browns in Fairfax, Virginia and they promised me free oil changes for 3 years as part of the "extended warranty". Took it in for the first oil change 3 months later and whadda you know, they lost the paperwork and couldn't honor the oil change agreement.
