I have a 2006 PT Cruiser. Recently a person who had been behind me, pulled up beside me and toldl me all my tail light were out. When checked, there was condensation (water) inside the tail light cover. We replaced the burned out light bulbs and dried out the covers. About a week later, I went through a car wash. Again last week, my tail lights are out and there is more water in the tail light covers. I'm thinking they are shorting out from the water. Going to dealership tomorrow. This company sold me a lemon of a used car. It needs over 7000 dollars worth of fixes to make it work correctly and the transmission is about to go. Not being a mechanic I asked for a service report and they said that they would get it to me. They never did. I am now retired. Living an a fixed income. I had a bad incident were I Cosigned a loan for a future daughter in-law. Long story short, this is pending ( not yet claimed in court against me ), and on my record as cosinee. American is holding this against me. I have been trying to get a refund of my extended auto warranty for 4 months now. I paid $1300 for the extended warranty and tried to cancel 3 months later. They will tell you to contact the company that sold the warranty. In my case that was Warranties 4 Wheels. Speedway is unfair to their employees. They tell you one day that your doing a great job, and the next they day tell you your fired! When they get a new manager at a particular store, the new manager is told by the District Manager to terminate all the employees that worked for the former manager. Even if they do nothing wrong. I bought my 200 3.2 TL in 2003 from a delarship in North Caroilna. I then had my frist problem with the transmission in sept 2004 with 65, 000 miles. The car was stalling and hesitating. My car did get tow by Patrol Master on 2/2/09. I was visiting a friend at Villa South in Aliso Viejo, CA. I did park my car on a visitor spot.
