Found 2007 F150 on yahoo auto from Benson Ford Merc at a price listed on internet $13900; called dealer for info on 9-26-08 they still had trk. Called back on 9-27-08 dealer still has trk. Left Charleston SC arrived at dealer around noon test drive trk dealer performed credit check, good! Tried to purchase & dealer jacked price to $23, 500. I took my car in for an oil change, tune-up and anti-freeze replacement. All for about $150 estimated price. They ended up keeping my car for a week . Nobody knew what was going on. They ended up boring out the heads on the vehicle instead of replacing the thermometer. The total repair price was over $1, 400. They told me, "We're all here to make a profit." They have done this before on other items, but this was the last straw. If you go to the Better Business Bureaus website, you will see that they do this quite frequently. This company and others like it are a ripoff. They make it impossible to complete the test, so you have to enroll into a class room in the long run. First of all the test consist of topics not related to driving at all. You learn about trivia you never cared about before. Call center phone reps like Nina are useless and a waste of minimum wage. If you ask for a manager you get Rachael who is queen airhead and now you understand where these come from. These companies are just rip offs, save you money and take the class. read full review »

I have tried to work things out with Joe Tajik at Stevens Creek Showcase auto dealership. They sold me a 1992 Mercedes Benz that is rife with problems ( Only God knows what the true mileage on this car is, because the speedometer is not correct). Each time I speak with Joe, it is one after another attempts to rip me off. Having encountered financial difficulties, I had to sell my 2002 Jaguar X-type. Budget Car Sales in Colorado

I had bad experience with the Budget in Aurora Colorado. Said they would take care of two problems, one being the door ajar light that makes tha alarm go off at random times, and the other a switch inthe steering column that allows the key to be taken out-this one you have to fight for about 10 minutes to get the key out. When I took the car in on Friday morning I waited to hear from them which I never did so I called at 5 to find out they had my truck in pieces and that for them to fix it I would have to pay just under $1000. Rent-A-Wreck - our worst car rental experience! We do not own a car by choice and have been renting cars from various companies over the last 10 years and have never experienced this low level of customer service before. We rented a car from September 19, 2008 to September 23, 2008 to attend a wedding 700km east of Vancouver BC. The man that owns this business is as dishonest as they come. One of his drivers backed into me on labor day weekend and Mr. white filed with his insurance company. Insurance contacted me, gave me an estimate on the damage. After I took it to Reliance ford in La Porte Tx, had it repaired, I found out the driver of the truck changed his story when the insurance adjuster called him. I was in the Vegas area and since they have many car dealerships around thought I would look. I found a great car and was pretty excited. My first car. This was overshadowed by the fact that once I left I realized that my contract was for $1000.00 more than it was to be. I had a blow out on the freeway. The GM said he would reimburse and then allowed $50 (for a tire!) when I paid $200.00 for a tire exactly like the other four. Who the *** wants a cheap tire on their car? Never liked Volvo after having an S40. Leased it, the service was weak and after the lease expired and I returned the car, the dealership failed to inspect the car when I dropped it off. The S40 was sideswiped and the dealership claimed it was us. Complete nonsense that lasted almost a year. I went to Mr. Tire for a new tire. The technician badly scraped the rim all around. At first, management refused to accept responsibility--two immature and obnoxious guys. Then the manager agreed to have someone call me to repair the rim. No one called, so I wrote a letter to the corporate office (Monro Muffler). They promised to have someone look at the rim, but no one ever followed up. Then I complained to the county consumer affairs office. I took my car to Midas in Englewood, Ohio for a routine replacement of brake pads. I drive a Honda Civic with 56, 000 miles on it. I go to pick up the car the next day and the car will barely move. I pulled over at a nearby service station only to realize that the front end of my car was on fire! The vehicle was returned to Midas for them to rectify the situation and they refused. I purchased a vehicle at Galilee Auto Sales in Brandon Manitoba, with a deposit of $100.00 to hold the vehicle until my Insurance Claim cheque came in and they resold the vehicle for a higher price without my knowledge. Obviously, binding contracts do not mean a thing to this company. They lied and said that my husband called to cancel the agreement which is a total fabrication. The salesman says that he shredded my cheque and the owner says that he ripped up my cheque. Which is the truth?? I was to receive a delivery of an engine and other parts on the 25/09/2008. It was despatched on the 24/09/2008 for delivery on the 25/08/2008 marked express after waiting in all day I contacted T.N.T. on their help line and obtained the number of the local depot. I am a successful business man in South Florida. I tried to buy a vehicle from RG Auto which is a small buy here, pay here. I left $3, 000 deposit on an 03 Mustang. I came back two hours later to pick up the car and Edgar Baquero and Joe Cohen and Mike Hunt tried to charge us and additional $3, 500 because our credit was bad (725 Decon score). I purchased unicorn in November 2007 in Saphire Honda, J.P.Nagar, Ban and found problem with the mono suspension.At the time of delivery they said unicorn comes with 1 year warranty. When I reported my problem to them, they repaired it, even for the second time again they repaired it and said if again problem arises it will be replaced, but for the third time they said that suspension is not covered under warranty. Have had several instances where "Service Engine Soon" light on dash came on. On one visit, light was reset, but when car was returned, keyless door entry did not work. Dealer said their repairs could not have affected this problem. Had to install new keyless door entry receiver. On next service engine light episode, first visit was to reset light. I am a canadian tire customer. I shop at your stores and use your gas bar towards a two cent gas saving, as I have the advantage gas card. Over the last month I have been checking the price of your gas compared to other gas servers. I have been calm and patient with regard to what I uncovered. I do not know whose fault what I found, but hopefully it can be resolved for all customers like myself, who figure they are saving money by purchasing gas with your gas advantage card. This place sold a used car, a dodge Neon that was promised to be safe and reliable. It was $600 down and $65 per week. Obviously there was a credit issue as the buyer but I was assurec I was getting a ready ride vehicle. I was infulenced by his repored faith in GOd and self reported dedication to his cumtomers. Sheetz gas station store # 85 in Waynesboro, PA. has a non-working automatic shutoff valve on one of their gas pumps. This is in direct violation of federal law!!! It is absolutely a major hazard. When the attendent was told of this serious matter, she could've cared less, but I bet her bosses and their bosses will care when I take my problem into Washington DC and turn them in!!! Stay away from this place! They'll sell you back your own parts. They steal parts off your car to put it on theirs. They'll ask you to replace parts on your car that don't need replacing. It's ridiculous the amount of unethical practices that go on here. They also sell used parts as new. They'll never fix your car correctly so you have to keep bringing it back. A few days ago, sometime in September of 08 I was in need of a battery for my truck so I bought a used battery at Dallas County Auto Salvage. I know... should know better, but they offered a 30 day guarantee not worth the paper it's written on. I returned 2 dead batteries to them (exchanged) then finally had enough and bought a new battery at Walfart then tried to return the used dead battery and was told no refunds on batteries. we have booked for a gas on 5th of this month. But still we haven't received the gas from Guru Gas Agency. When we enquired about the same, but there is no proper response from them. Gas being a essential comodity we are having tough time with this Gas agency. They are booking for a cylinder only after 21 days from the dispatch of last cylinder. Took my car to this Meineke for an oil change, Tire balance and rotation 20 September 2008. after getting home i was going to fill my window washer and noticed my oil filter wasn't changed. As for the tire rotation and balance, It was worse after the servce then before. to sum it up it cost me $80.04 for a fake oil change and a so called tire rotation and Out of Balance service for my car.
