Brought my car in for a brake job because one of the calipers had hung up causing the pad to wear very rapidly resulting in grinding on the disk. I bought my 2005 KIA Spectra5 new in September 2005. My intitial gas mileage was 15 mpg. I was told it would increase and be at or near the sticker mpg after 6000 miles. At 12.000 miles on the odomenter I now get a rousing 19 mpg in town and 22 mpg on the highway. Needless to say, I am disappointed! On 8/22 I visited a Sunoco gas station. I went into the station to pay by credit card. Behind the counter was a clerk, who was busy sorting reciepts, and a girl approx. ten years old. I presented my card and was surprised when the child took my card and preceeded to run the transaction thru the credit card machine. I and my family were in an auto wreck in March 2005. At the time of the accident I had full coverage insurance and the insurance company didn't pay for the other vehicle or for my vehicle that I was driving and I had to pay to get it fixed. Went for brake service and noted a substancial increase in price over previous year. Found out that the cost of my pads increased %100 from previous year. District manager claimed previous proces were wrong. However when I rearched the same product at retail - it was %50 less. The pads were even %22 less straight from the dealer. I bought a 1967 Ford Mustang that did not have the original engine or transmission. It was modified for racing then made street legal. I was having trouble with the dipstick tube leaking. I booked for Gas cylinder on 25.07.08 with an assurance that the cylinder will be delivered after 15 days. But the same has not been delivered till date. I was traveling on I-90 in South Dakota at the posted Speed limit (75mph) when a rear tire blew out. The damage to my fender and rim will be expensive to repair.
