On February28, 2008 I contacted Capitol Auto to replace the broken transmission in my 2005 Chevy Avalanche, I was given the price, and I agreed to it. The transmission was allegedly replaced with a salvaged part - from similar car and only had 19, 000 miles on it. It took them over a week to do it. I ordered 2 110 cc atv's for my children. Pink camo and yellow camo were the colors I ordered. They asked for alternate colors and I chose yellow and blue. These machines come with matching youth sized helmets. Upon receiving the atv's via Estes truck freight we realized that we had in fact received a blue one and a red one. I took my 1998 Honda Civic to Maaco Auto body in Garwood NJ on 2/29/08 to repaint my vehicle. I picked up the vehicle on 3/7/08 on a rainy day so I was not able to check out the vehicle for any defects. The following day it stopped raining and I was able to inspect the vehicle for any flaws. I purchased the Secutire Tire Pressure Monitoring System from Pepboys earlier in December. It seemed like a great idea, my tires were always losing air and in the meantime it did a great job monitoring the tires! But. Come time to take the tire gauges off so I can add more air into the valve when I find that they won't come off. It's as if someone took superglue and adhered the gauges onto my air valve. They gave me a bs estimate then tried to scam me out of $3500 in work that they said was done but the mechanic said had not yet started, they finished two weeks late then said it might not work, they finished at $700 over the estimate and only after a complaint to the BBB. I've had 3 sets of Cragar classic mag wheels. The first set lasted many years, the past 2 sets don't even make it 3 years. My car is a 70 Chevelle SS, and I like the look of the Cragars, but the chrome flakes off, pits within a year, and then the rust shows up. In February I went to Toronto for a business trip. We needed a rental car and found a deal on line to get a vehicle from Alamo/National. What we thought was a good deal was not one at all. Bought two trailers - one was never inspected. company came down repaired tongues. The boys who were sent down to fix the trailer neglected to weld center beam. Both trailers had to be repaired at cost of 1650.00. When the crew came they had no money to pay for their motel and supplies costing another 650.00. There was no reimbursement for anything. I bought new honda aviator from Regent Honda, Faridabad.In which after 2 days I noticed that there is gap in the speedometer cover with the cover where light is mounted.I have take it to the dealer and dealer sent it to work shop for repair, but the mechanic didn't repair the lock in stead he used adhesive to join the both covers. Claremont VW and VWSA have sold me a brand new car that started rusting from 4 weekd after taking delivery. Since then, the car has been back approx. 7 times for rust repairs/body work issues and general bad quality of workmanship. It has reached the point now where they "repaird" body work issues, but they have completely stuffed up the boot. It no longer aligns with the body and sets the alarm off at random times. Claremont VW and VWSA now refuse to rectify the damage they have done and refuse to return my calls or even speak to me. I bought a Maruti Alto Lxi 6 months back. After the second service, the car has become unsteady at 60 km/hr or higher speed, more in 5th gear. It wobbles and I took back to the dealer. I purchased 4 all season tires from Canadian Tire and paid to have them installed. After a week I noticed a bulge in one of the tires so I took it back to be replaced. They told me that it is no problem to replace the tire since it was obviously defective. Once they were done with replacing the tire I was told the cost is $32.00 for labour to replace the tire. I argued that I already paid for that...but all this was to no avail. Unbeliveable bad customer service...I took my car to the Canadian Tire in Bolton for a rattling sound, they charge be $83.00 to determine what the problem was. I was called later in the night to advise me of the cost to fix, and I agreed based on the cost that I was quoted. Next day I went to pick up my car the cost was $798.00.
