I purchased a Canon PowerShot A640, including a $125.00 5 year International/Warranty & Service Plan on May 20, 2007 from empiredigital. Today is May 23, 2009. Now, the zoom functions don't work. Also, there are 5 function buttons that control the camera to adjust for the type of pic, it can manually adjust inside, outside, sunny day: ext. I made complains every month for 4 months over their online payment service portal that I could not pay by my credit card since 4 months ago, message shown that it was not a valid bank card issuer. It was ok before this. What furious me is, the customer service staff don't seem to be able to answer my query and no feedback from them after and no resolution to the portal. I" HAD" OWNED A L2000 DIGITAL CAMERA, WHERE THE CAMERA WAS LOST BY UPS.I SENT IT TO SAMSUNG ON APRIL 24TH FOR REPAIR(only 3 months and of coarse not under warranty) they sent it back to me and UPS lost it.The main problem is no one is taking this seriously at Samsung.They keep saying that the package is being tracked(past 2-1/2 weeks) -It doesn't take that long!!now I am still without a camera--THIS COMPANY REALLY KNOWS HAVE TO PASS THE BUCK AND DROP THE BALL!!! Within the 3 business day (5/13/09)I mailed the cancellation notice. On 5/20/09 4:40 pm salesman called and wanted to pick up the KIRBY, he came over but did not have my Dirt Devil to return to me. I told him to bring my Dirt Devil back tomorrow and I would complete the exchange. He tried to tell me he would return my vacuum tomorrow I told him no again just bring mine back. I placed the order via the web and received an e-mail telling me I needed to call and verify information. At the time of the call I was told I needed to purchase an SD card so the GPS would operate properly. I said I would purchase the one for $79.99. I purchased an HP computer from Sams Club on 03/05/2008 and purchased a 3 year warranty I was told that if I dropped it or anything was to happen it would be fixed or if it could not be fixed it would be replaced well 2 motherboards later and a CPU the computer does not work and when I call the service company they tell me I need to purchase a recovery disk to repair it. After the motherboard was replaced the computer did and has not worked I feel as if I do not need to pay any more for something that should be covered under the insuance. read full review »

Hi, I was trying to reinstall the operating system on my computer. DriverAgent.com preyed upon my frustration at finding drivers for my operating system. They said that they had the drivers I needed after running a scan on my computer. When I paid they forced me to buy other products that I did not want. Should have been a sign. Data transfer slower than USB 1 even though on the packet it was written USB 2 data transfer: I also had similar type of incident in the same way they deducted 10% on the product (please refer to the complain of Camera nikon) . I tried to return it on the same day but the Dept. Manager Mr. Naser Abdulrahman Salman Alsharif and customer support person Mr Sahbaaj acted very smart. I purchased a Kenmore Elite Cloths washer Model 110.25062500 in August of 05, it has been replaced once and repaired twice, every service rep that works on it tells me that the machine has been plagued with problems. It's broken again, I had to pay $70 for about 10 minutes of the reps time to tell me that it would cost $350 to fix the problem, I called Sears to ask them for assistance in buying a new machine but all they can offer is a voucher for $65 to $100 nothing else. Worldwide Rebates is a totally scam company. Willnot buy any product with their rebate anymore. Rebate was approved 6 week ago. Ask them when the check could be mailed. Crossover GPS works fairly well as a GPS, but displays annoying behavior that 6 calls/requests to their tech support (so-called) has failed to fix. They always suggest the same thing to fix it: 'Have you updated the firmware?'. Yes, stupid! Three or four times just for fun. Problem is ETA calculation flashes completely nonsensical times between valid times -- consistently all along a route. I purchased an Apex digital 19" lcd TV-model LD1919 for $250.00 in August of 2008. In May of 2008 it has died. I called the company and they told me to send them the TV, pay them $50 and they will fix it. I checked the web and there are many, many owners of this same TV and model that have had the exact problem--some sooner and some on my time table. This TV is obviously defective and Apex knows this. Bought a PC from Comet in Sept 08 and experienced problems within the first week. Went to store and reported problem and was told we had to contact Acer direct and that Comet could not help. Contacted the Acer helpline and explained my computer was freezing with everything I tried to do, they told me I had to re-set the computer to factory default settings and talked me through how to do it.
