During the warranty period, the lens motor stopped working and got the "Lens Error" displayed on the LCD. Nikon refuses to fix the problem saying it is not covered by warranty saying it is because of the abuse since there are scratches on the case!!! Since purchasing a 2008 HP Pavilion Slimline PC a few months ago, I have had nothing but compatibility problems with it's built-in Vista Windows program. I heard about this before purchasing it, but was also told that the problem had been resolved and it was safe to purchase it. The supposed problem-solving Service Pack 1 is a total joke. I am continuously downloading the driver to my HP 6310 printer (also new!) since it won't read it every time. I should have trusted my instincts and switched to a Mac! That's my next plan. I ordered a Magellan GPS 4250 at a price of $259.00 from their web site. Their website looks quite professional. I should have done more research. I was billed extra for a high end Optoma home theater projector. It arrived OK. However, the serial numbers had been removed from the box and the unit. It developed a problem and I was unable to send it to Optoma for repair.
