I ordered US Weekly from student/salesperson Dani Gould in August of 2008, still have not received subscription. Number on receipt for complaints is recording. No response phonecall, no response email.
If you run into ANY of these student/salespersons I suggest STRONGLY to send them away and DO NOT buy from them. THIS IS A SCAM!!! I'm out near $90 for a two year subscription I'll never receive. read full review »
Publisher Clearing House
Publisher Clearing House sent me checks stating that I won these checks to purchase certain Items. I chose the computer. Sent them a check for $350.00. The computer came in two different shipments. First the monitor then the drive, keyboard and mouse. The on/off button for the speakers was broke. Took the speakers apart and fix button. Cannot turn the monitor off using the button. If the on/off switch is used on monitor can't turn back on. Short in the button. Can only turn monitor off by turning the power off. Did not get Micorsoft word... read full review »
Magazine Services
They had called me many times before and i had told them to take me off of their list but then one day i received a call, listened to them and the offer didn't sound horrible so i agreed to it. they had told me they would be sending all my confirmation information in the mail and that they would be making one charge to my account. i have already had two charges to my account in the last two-three weeks. The amount that we had discussed earlier was also not correct. If they would have told me that it cost around sixty dollars a time i would have hung up. read full review »

Best Health Magazine
My complaint concerns FALSE ADVERTISING and the waste of paper and my time.
I received a card with my latest subscription stating that if I log in to www.besthealthmag.ca/surprise that "A FREE SURPRISE GIFT IS WAITING FOR YOU!"
I finally decided to take the time to check out what the "free surprise gift" was just for fun. I am hardened to the concept that anyone, especially company's in the business of making money really care to give away anything without trying to get something in return.
Of course, I... read full review »

True Vision Inc.
In June 08 a young man from True Vision Inc. came to my door claiming to be working to get back on his feet. I signed up for three magazines at a cost of $195 but six months later have receieved nothing. None of my calls have been returned.
It is infuriating because back in 2002 and again in 2005 I purchased magazines from a similar company helping young people and all of the magazines arrived on time. So, when the True Vision rep. came to my door I had no reason to be suspicious.
Sadly, all future sellers will be turned away, which probably means that some genuine cases will miss out. Shame on you True Vision Inc. read full review »

Bloomfield Software
I was looking into buying some First Name Software to supplement my home business and found this company, Bloomfield Software among others. I was particularly interested in Bloomfield and another company, Ken Kirkpatrick Software.
I like to do my homework b/4 I buy and on Bloomfield's site there is a reference to another site, ShopandCompareBiz. It doesn't take a genius to figure out this manufactured site is an advertisement for Bloomfield and its sole purpose is to slam his competitors. Dunkin' D0nuts
I worked @ this particular Dunkin' Donuts. I love the coffee & other products that DD has to offer. HOWEVER, I will NEVER return to this DD. The manager is a very young, unexperienced Manager with the worse people skills I have ever seen. She has NO business being in a Management position, especially with NO prior experience. I had 9 years of full service restaurant management exp. & have NEVER dealt with such an immature manager/person in my entire life. I predict that this DD will eventually close. There are enough customer complaints about her & her poor attitude. read full review »

Purchased software to see what it could do. It does nothing. Most of the items on there menu are just short cuts to utilities that are provided for you by your operating system. I only tried it because of the 'No Explanation 30 Day Money Back Guarantee'. Do not fall for this. You will not get your money back. This is one purchase your credit card company will not come to your rescue. You will lose your money. They literally are thieves. 24hr tech support does not exist. Intuit/Quickbooks
In 2007 I upgraded Quickbooks premier, at a cost of approx $800. The only difference between the new version and the three year old one I already had was color scheme and the ability to add an icon onto the staff payroll statement. The new functions had yet to make it to Australia. When I complained the staff at Intuit did not care.
This year I upgraded to 2008/9. The new version has never been able to share files between two computers. Despite new "Patches" and reinstalling several times (a lengthy process), the program still... read full review »

October 17, 2008, Stephen Crittenden, claiming to be a neighbor a block down from my neighborhood came to the door selling magazines. He commented that he had two more subscriptions to make that would help him make his intended goal so that he could take (I believe) certain college classes.
December 30, 2008, I called 631-828-8374 leaving a message for someone to return my call with an explanation of when to expect the magazine I had placed a subscription to on October 17.
