I have had two windows break in nine years where the glass meets the side of the house. I complained to the main company. They replied that they do not pay for broken glass. I believe the glass breaks from thermal expansion in early spring/summer. I also believe they have built a defective product since they sell enclosures specifically intendede for these conditions. Air Castle and Cleveland Shifflett came with glowing reports from the internet however, I don't think all the reviews get posted. My experience with Cleve goes as follows... Ok, so we set up the bag as directed, and checked the directions twice. (we always do). Waited the 2-4 days, figured something was wrong, but we waited for another 3 days, making it a full week. We purchased a solar powered latern at Gary Daniel's Lawn and Garden on May 30, 2010. We were told that it would glow for about 4 hours after receiving sunlight for about 4 hours. The first few days it produced about an hour of light after 8-10 hours in the sun. Good enough, I guess. It did this for a few days, then stopped working entirely. Who do I complain to regarding the billing of gas and electric from Eon. Bills were sent on 30th June 2009 and no more until a year later on 24th June 2010. Both readings were provided by my son-in-law as Eon never read the meters, despite the fact that they are situated outside the house and the supplier holds a key. My frigidaire refrigerator inside door keeps cracking! the inside door is useless. the rack holders have fallen off and the material (thin plastic) is now in eight peices!!! it is so ugly and so useless. I spent, in all almost 2000 dollars on a Serta Mattress and accessories. From the first night I selpt on it I realized something was seriously wrong with the mattress. The refrigerator we purchased was delivered with more damage than was present when we purchased it. Upon delivery, the invoice had been falsified to make it look like we signed for it in that condition. The delivery person had us talk to his manager (on the phone) who assured us that the damaged handle would be replaced within a few days and that the store would make amends for the extra damage. Right price point, but on first day can see many weaknesses. Appears that one great vacuum engineer built a terrific bagless system and then three engineers followed behind making the plastic thinner and the accessories cheaper. Bissell promotes no more bags, but only offers disposabe $12 HEPA media. Other brands may offer this as washable. I purchased the Troy built riding lawn mower less than a year ago from Lowe's. Four times the compression release valve and camshaft has been replaced 3 times, well, today it has broken again, I have only mowed with this maybe 8 times. On 2/2/10 a hot water heater burst in a condo above ours, flooding our entire unit. We were not insured. We place a claim with the owner's insurance company. After their investigation, they notified us that the owners of the condo above us called their service company, letting them know that their hot water heater was leaking. The service company (ECM), came on 1/29/10 and tightened a knob, claiming it was now fixed. These companies are know to try in every way to avoid replacing big items. This is the worst dishwasher ever made!!! First time it broke was 3 months after purchase. Then it had a heating element that was recalled. We smelled a strange odor and noticed that the door control panel did not work. Only would run on the insta wash cycle. I agreed there customer service sucks. My alarm went off right after I left for work and the ADT operator sent the police to the wrong address. I got to work 45 minutes later they called and the operator left a message on my work phone and said to call them. We recently had a kitchen re-done by Weston Kitchens and it was a huge dissapointment. They made many design and installation errors, and failed to fix them or follow through with what they promised after many attempts to discuss this with them. Our general contractor found many structural or other problems with their designs which he had to fix after the fact at extra expense to us. We thought it would be worth it to "pay more" for better quality service, but we ended up paying a premium price to use this company and getting terrible service. The power of this trimmer was very disappointing. It may trim short grass 3 times around a football field as in the TV ad, but in my yard it could not trim the tall grass around posts, under steps, and around areas my lawnmower cannot reach, as it struggled to trim and stay up to power. I still only have done about 2/3 of our yard and it is charging for the 4th time. Also, the tool is too short for my husband to use without leaning over. While Tucson.BBB.org rates American Home Maintenance, Inc A+ my experience with the company is much less. A service call was arranged via Home Depot for repair of my HVAC system. The problem was diagnosed to a faulty blower motor relay. The relay price was quoted at $379 and would not be replaced without a $249 cleaning.
