I tried to write a check for a purchase and the check was refused by Certegy. I have not written a hot check ever. I have an excellent credit rating. When I called Certegy they told me that there was nothing wrong with my writting a check, but if I would fill out a 3 or 4 page report this would be taken care of. Screw Certegy and AS. I requested a cancellation for alarm mornitoring services.The company stated that it will not cancel the services because the contract automaticly renew itself each year without notice.You must also send in a hand written letter 30 days before the contract date.As hard as things are financially companies should be more open to these matters.I know things are hard for companies as well but after being with the same company for years, there should not be a problem with canceling a service. read full review »

Bolotins Customer Service is absolutely horrible. All they care about is making the initial sale. I purchased a picture that had a defective frame. The salesperson indicated they could fix it. I paid my bill off in two installations. The total bill was approximately 1200.00. My second payment was received by Pier 1 on july 2, 2009. It was mailed before the due date . Buyer beware and stay away from Golden Bear Floors (owned by a man named John Bernal). Not only did his installers do a terrible job on our floor, but at every step of the process, he did exactly what we told him NOT to do. Called them out because Basement was backing up due to Roots in the Main line. Quoted 1.5Hr and 100Ft of Cleaning. Plumber found seperation in line and claimed had to stop that his equipment got stuck. Claimed if it got stuck would have to break ground to repair line. Left partialy cleared line. Basically would not complete the job unless Main was to be replaced. When I explained other plumbers provided quotes, they wanted to know who so they can report them for working on a Main line that was broken. We bought an extra firm mattress in March of 2007. We got in touch with the store and told them we were developing an indent in the mattress. A technician came and looked at the mattress. He told us that the indents were only 1 inch and they have to be 1 and 1/2 inch deep before they will do anything. They also said we should not sit on the edge of the bed because the mattress are not made to take the pressure. I paid $1500 for the mattress and I AM NOT SUPPOSE TO SIT ON THE BED. They did a job for my mother about 15 years ago and here is what I am experiencing today to clean up THEIR MESS. They put an entire second level on the house along with a new bath tub on the main level and an upper level deck on the back. When they broke out the tile to put the new tub in on the main level, they replaced the tile with panel board. Of course now the walls are rotted and mildewed and Im ripping walls out of a bathroom. We hired Sunray Services on 5/29/08 to fix a leak in our kitchen from our upstairs bathroom. The plumber who gave the estimate, Ralph, told us that the entire ceiling had to be removed, along with the side wall of our kitchen. POOR Serivce - I am going on my 6th repair call for the same issue. The techs keep on coming but they seem to mess it up each time. Today, Saturday, I had a call to confirm my service appointment between 8-5pm but no one showed.
