My Frigidaire Gallery Series stainless steel refrigerator door is rusting. I have not found anything that takes the rust off. I was told by Frigidaire that because the year warranty had expired there was nothing they could do except refer me to a repair man. From start to finish Elite Screens & President Russ Morgan has been a nightmare. They were to built their "specialty" - 3" insulated roof / screen patio. Took 4 months to start work because they lost paperwork twice of HOA approvals and tried to hold onto permit money without applying. I had to straighten it out with city. We called MGA in March of last year because the roof in our home was leaking. We had several bids and every company said the same thing, the roof was too warm and was causing ice dams. Have been neddign the door and sidelights replaces for over a year. Company that sells the product and the Peachtree rep both agree the product is faulty. Peachtree Corp has screwed around and still have not gotten back to nay of us. Have filled out required service request forms, sent several emails and nothing. I am keeping my door shut with shims. We have had Metlife home owners insurance for over 15 years . Never have we filed a claim. Insurance paid out of escrow faithfully. Then sends us a letter, that due to overwelming cost from storms, they must cancel Florida's homeowners. I understand the costs, however, what is insurance for!? They indicated that I would have to notify them in writing 30 days prior to the contract ending or they would automatically renew.
