My husband and I purchased two couches from Levin just before Christmas of 2008. When we received the couches, we noticed very quickly that we were sinking into them an unusual amount. We ordered screens and they told us that they could be out on 24 hours notice to install them once they were ready. We wanted to get our windows washed and then coordinate the installations of the screens. I bought a custom couch from Seigerman's 10/03/2000. At the time I was told that it would be advisable to purchase a COMPREHENSIVE warranty for $240.00 which would cover repairs for the lifetime of the couch. This unit has numerous complaints about this unit on the internet. Apparently many other people have had the same problem - the coffee maker just stops working. We received the maker as a gift for our wedding - less than three years ago. According to Cuisinart, the serial number refers to a unit that is out of warranty. Exceedingly dishonest about payments. They will quote you and promise you one thing, and then not honor their commitment. They will get you on-site for a service call, and if it be4comes complicated, will verbally promise you an hourly rate, or an increased flat rate, and then when it comes time for payment, they will deny ever making any such commitments, even if your have names, times, and the end-user's signature. Sales rep lied I went to the store to possibly buy some new furniture for my condo and found a couch and chair for the living room. My daughter had a cat and I was concerned about it using the furniture as a scratching post. The sales rep assured me if I purchased the "warranty" that the company would fix any pet damage. This is not true. Also the "90 day comfort sleep" has a 100.00 dollar restocking fee that she failed to tell me about too. I will not ever purchase anything from this company ever again. After finding pieces missing I was forced to return to the Superstore on four separate occasions in an effort to retreive the missing parts. ALKCO sent me a new replacement lighting fixture (Slique T2 SQ213) to replace one that no longer functioned (balast was defective). On installation of the new fixture, my electrician received a severe shock, as the whole casing of the fixture was activated. I had a sprinkler system installed last year and at the time of installation Rain 4 Sale hooked my timer up on the same circuit that runs my well pump. When the two were on at the same time the circuit was overloaded and the breaker would trip. This happened to me one morning while showering for work. Needless to say I was not pleased. A four year old York A/C has a major coil leak. The warranty states 10 year free labor and parts. Called the owner named Creg, said no longer works with York A/C and does not honor the warranty.
