In May 2008 I bought a new Kenmore refrigerator through a Sears store in North Conway, New Hampshire, for one of my apartments. In November 2008 this refrigerator malfunctioned and a Sears repairman allegedly repaired it. This apartment was vacant for about six months. Make sure you thoroughly read your contract with these people before signing. I signed a 3 year contract with them, and after the 3 year term ended, I called to cancel services. They told me the contract was 3-year retroactive, which the representative failed to tell me, and that if I wanted to cancel services, I should have sent them a certified letter, in the mail, 1 month prior to my contract end date, which had already passed. I decided to shift my belonging from my native to the city where are transfered due to work. I have hired the above mentioned packer and movers for transporting my house hold items. They could deliver the consignments within promised time but few boxes were missing (Provision clothes and few utensils). This individual or someone representing his company TAPED advertising literature to the siding of my house. This is an OUTRAGEOUS business practice! I called him to ask that it be removed on 3 different occasions and he ignored all three - he always lets his phone go to voice message, so there's no way to speak to him. I filed a BBB complaint and he has lied to them about trying to call me, leaving messages, and accuses me of ignoring him! I was locked out of my house and called usalocksmiths.com. A guy showed up in about 35 minutes, looked at the lock, and told me that he would charge me $188 for the job. It was expensive, but what could I say? "Maybe it was a difficult task", I said to myself. But it was NOT!!! Well, I heard back from Maytag Customer service. Their advice is for me to contact a service technician. On the basis of everyone's comments here, I think I will save myself some time and money and just wait for the dishwasher to die completely. I am going to talk to the store that sold the dishwasher to us, and let them know how poorly Maytag is treating their customers. Did someone suggest a lawsuit? Company repaired my condenser fan and violated national Electrical Code. Company performed inspection and maintenance of my A/C system and completely missed componentst that were removed by another company for repair. We started using this company for lawn mowing and they are VERY careless with your flowers, fence, and anything left in your back yard! The customer service is terrible at best!!! If you ever need to call them, they NEVER answer the phones, and when you leave a message, they NEVER return them. Scheduled an appointment with Sears Repair Service for the repair of myFreezer / ice maker for 5 Aug 2009 between 0800 and 1200. On 5 Aug I never received a phone call telling me when repair person would be at my home. Bought a brand new Kenmore Regrigerator in May of 2005. It died while I was out of town on July 28, 2009. Just over 4 years old and it is unreparable now. Lost all the contents. I am on my second Black & Decker Skillet. On the first one, the plug was incredibly difficult to insert without force so I exchanged it for the identical skillet. Premier Steel Building totally ripped me off on my Steel Building. They were supposed to allow me when I could take delivery. They then had a shipper try to deliver the building without proper notifying me. I was not even in town. So, of course the shipper had to take the building back. They then tried it again. Their warranty appears great, 10 years replacement we were told if not satisfied but when you read the print under the tag at the end of the mattress it becomes clear. Depressions have to be 2" which is like a crater to sleep in. Ours appeared in 5 months after purchasing. Only 1 1/2" so too bad. Because it is a pillow top we can not flip, so now we have a mattress that is killing our backs. I wrote the president and the company but it has to be 2" or more. I had a privacy fence put up in 2004. Since it has been up, the wooden fence doors have fallen part. I called the first time about it, it took about 2 months for someone to come out and fix them. Within two weeks, they fell apart again. I called equity again, and my calls never got returned until I threatened legal counsel. Someone finally came out again. Within a month, the fence doors were falling apart again! Since then I have been calling them since September of 2006, and Mr. Fluharty keeps telling me that he will send someone out to fix the doors. No one never shows up.
