My Nick Florio the owner of the company, made alot of promises and charged alot of money for a job that was completely insuficient. Product was not layed properly, retaining wall was put in the wrong spot, existing garden was destroyed. Driveway is only one month old and it is cracking and the top is loose which leaves tyer marks and foot prints. This is a review of Handyman Express. We used the company to get bids on some construction work (to prepare for granite installation) and plumbing work. What a nightmare. The bids are high. I had been desperate to get a plumber, so I paid their "bid fee" of $40 to get to plumber out to my house. Then I felt like I needed to go with their bid because I had already paid that money. I went to the store yesterday got my fabric and they were serving number 50 at the time i got 53 i stood in line waiting for my fabric to be cut the ladies there were chatting with there costumers about random personal stuff before they started cutting during and after. I had a child with me that ran out of patients after 20 mins of waiting in line. Mr. Rooter came to my house to repair my main drain. While they were here they ruined my kitchen floor, Dented my washing machine and left the hole the dug unfilled. They were paid in full. Hired Macale to redo bathroom, remove old flooring and install new floor. After 3 days of demo, owner decides to charge an extra $2500.00 for effort because "They installed the old floor correctly". We purchased a French Door Refrigerator (Samsung) from Lowe's. It was the largest size and black gloss. My complaint is not only with Samsung but also Lowe's, as we purchased the extra 4 yr. service plan with them. Service man came on time and he was polite and neat, he explained everything about charges by promotional coupon and i did understood that i had some extra work involved. I am sick and tired of Geek Squad service. I have a service contract for a Samsung side by Side Refrigerator bought at Best Buy with Geek Squad. I had a complaint lodged on June 2nd and the Tech came in the next day to look at it. Then I awoke one morning to him loading his ladders and all of his stuff onto his truck. Deiby Alvarenga and his father worked in our house for several projects from oct 2009 to May 2010. They took our money and disappear. Left many unfinished jobs in my house. They claim they can do everything, all kind of works, but end up they screwed up most of them. All jobs are either not finished or need to redo again.
