I ordered a 82 1/4 inch custom-order door from Home Depot. Supplier -Emco. The door that was delivered measured 81 inches yielding a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door, rendering the door virtually useless. Response from Assistant Manager: "Thats the way all these doors are delivered from the manufacturer - anywhere from 1 -1 3/4 inch smaller than the Rough Opening size". I have been making my payments online for a mattress set I bought. I make all payments when I receive my check on or about the first of each month. GEMB has been charging me late charge fees because they get my payments too early. To me that is the epitome of stupidity. In April of 2008 we ordered hurricane windows from this company. We paid over $8, 000.00 in full. It is now November and the windows have not been installed. Purchased cookware through HSN with a75 yr warranty, after 3 years of use the product is flaking and peeling. Contacted HSN about warranty and first was told they were no longer honoring Ultrex warranty, as the company has gone out of business, however would give me 50.00 credit to use with me. I contacted Edge Flooring by phone, email, letter and by using the Better Business Bureau, (BBB) in Georgia (where they are based) concerning my faulty kitchen flooring. The owner of this business, Thor Johnsen has a civil judgement against him for over $1000 for deceptive advertising and breach of contract. The Culinary Rebates offered on this website require you to send your receipts from any online order on Kitchen stuff.. and then the rebates are processed by this company no matter where you buy from.. they just need the receipts.. Lining in a comdominum requires that the external apperance of a building not be changed. we live in a condominium. In brief, I purchased a bed on my Coop credit card on 15th August 2007. On the 17th August 2007 I reported the bed as being faulty. This company charged me $99.00 on my credit card back in 2007. I didn't notice it until they again charged me this month on the same card for $149.99. I purchased a refrigerator at an appliance store and purchased the extended warranty from The Walker Group. Here I am a year and a half later with a broken fridge. I contracted for a wrought iron driveway gate anchored to 6-foot tall brick columns. All the work was done by nameless subcontractors whom I did not approve. I bought a Kenmore Power Miser 9 Gas Water Heater from Sears and the pilot light stops working resulting in cold water all the time. I called Sears and their Service not only sucks but they refuse to honor their warranty for free parts, I bough the water heater in December 2005 and it has a 9 year warranty. November 7, 2008 Professional Engineer gets stumped by microwave oven by LG. 2 year old microwave oven by LG goes dead in the water. Nine years ago, I used Sears to redo my roof. They dropped a large pack of shingles on a small patio on the second floor and cracked the granite. Sears replaced the granite but washed the new granite with acid which leaked into our copper gutters. Our gutters are ruined ONLY around the patio and a professional roofer assessed that the damage has come from the acid which Sears used to wash the installed granite.
