I contracted for a kitchen remodeling job with Sears Home Improvement, 1024 Florida Central Parkway, Longwood FL 32750 and had cracked and defective cabinets installed. My wife discovered the cracks when she was cleaning them and the putty came out of the cracks of two cabinets. I called and complained to the salesman, but an obvious deception has been perpetrated here by concealing defects with putty.

GE Monogram
I have a 4 year old GE Monogram 42" built in side by side fridge. It has had numerous issues with maintaining cool temp in the fridge and freezer and the unit is serviced 2x a year for this issue (along w/ moisture problems, ice maker issues, etc.). This started w/ in the first 6months of ownership. I have had the gasket, compressor, air fan, air flow damper, and other parts I do not recall along with the ice maker and water hoses replaced. SO I had an existing ADT system in my new storefront here in Chicago.
I feel was mislead at the time I signed the contract and was told verbally that I would have two motion sensors installed. That is what the sales rep told me. She made everything sound really cheap. I guess I should have had my lawyer present to look over the contract.

Brian was contracted to strip and stain our outdoor deck. He told us it would take a week to complete. He also asked for half of the money up front for expenses, which $500 was given to him by check. Brian was contacted numerous times, and worked a total of 10 hours in 3 weeks. He then never returned any of our phone calls, or ever showed up to work again after that. We were lied to and felt cheated. Brian has left us with a half-finished mess and the summer is half over. Hilarys Shutters
We ordered shutters on 6th March and were advised they would be fitted within 8 weeks. We are now in the fifth month, despite a complaint letter, at least 10 telephone calls we are still waiting for the shutters to be delivered to an installer, before we can even arrange an installation date. Phone calls are not responded to; they have a deposit of nearly £600; we feel so frustrated at such poor custmer service and are not being given any names of how we take the complaint higher or get our money back. read full review »

I can't really say what kind of work this company does because after getting the runaround for 2 weeks from them, Mr. Walter himself told me that his company wasn't going to pay $4.00/gallon for gas to come out and do my small repair job on my roof. Then Mr. Walter proceeded to tell me that he would come out the next day if I would pay him $600.00 to do my roof repairs that according to their advertisement should only cost $99.00. I have new carpet that was professionally cleaned by certified cleaner that cosed $400 each time. The technician said that my carpets are under warranty and the stains should have come out and to contact shaw. I did this with numerous run around as it had to be submitted by my installer.

My pool has been done for less than one year. The wet deck was poor plastering from day one. They have partially drained my pool 2 x and fully drained it 2 X . They have been pointing fingers for the past year, looking for someone to blame. They now say for me to go after my pool cleaners because the problems are from poor chemicals.

I was promised a credit by company personnel, after I called and was told by them that their records showed I did not receive service during the month of March. However, the company wouldn't credit my account no matter how many ways I contacted them, including by certified mail. Yard works riding lawn tractor
I purchased this yardworks tractor in June of 2004, with the 4 year extended warranty. At the time I was told that this was one of the best riding lawnmowers available at canadian tire. I paid $1799.00 plus GST for it.In September of 2004, the transmission blew on the tractor. It was under warranty, so it was replaced at the time the tractor had only 25 hours on it. I bought a Samsung washing machine from EZone's Heebal Bangalore store. They promised delivery of product on 1st July 2008 But It didn't come without any information. When I reminded them in the evening they told it will be delivered next day. But again no response. After lot of reminders they send the machine on 5th July. But to my surprise machine had lot of scratches. It seem they had sent the display model to me.

After sale service facilities of IFB Washing Machines in chennai tamil nadu state.Stat is totally unsatisfactory. My machine is not working for past 20 days... i have registered a complaint regarding this on 19th june. but none turned up... The Dealer is not willing to replace the broken WC and I was forced to spend around Rs.10, 000 to install a new WC., inspite of supplying non Parryware inferior product... It may be noted that the Dealer collected Rs 170/= for each bolt set and because of this inferior quality bolts, the WC warranty was completely lost. I need to know how an authorized Parryware dealer can supply such inferior non-Parryware product to fit a Parryware closet and there by voiding my warranties. This company is associated, is a shell, or owns GeoDeck outright. I have a letter from the company that was covering their warranty on the decking awarding me proceeds from a claim I filed against them. Now they claim they do not have enough money to cover all the claims that were filed against them so the warranty company conveniently went out of business. Davis Home Improvements is a company to stay away from. For three different years they promised California consumers the chance to win $10, 000 worth of home improvements. This was a scam to get telephone numbers for their telemarketers to pester people. I have proof of this as I was employed by Tim Davis for over 4 years at his Bakersfield, window, texcote, patio and sunroom company. As a result of my experience with him, my wife and I have been subject to his constant and ongoing harassment because of our knowledge of his suspect activities. AC Appliance repair in the Plano Richardson area of Texas, did an air conditioner replacement. They left the condensation drain disconnected. By the time I realized what had happened we had 1000's of dollars worth of damage. They would not even send someone out to look at it. They claimed no responsibility without even looking. The office manager I spoke to was rude to me and obnoxious. I contacted a lawyer but was told that by the time I was able to get anything done I would have spent more that the damage that had occurred. A thoroughly disreputable company. Warranty is worthless. If your Rheem water heater has a 6 year warranty and fails after 3.5 years (as ours did), you may find them using all kinds of questionable tactics to escape responsibility.
On three separate calls to three agents they insisted our heater was 7 years old. They had clearly been trained to say this, the patter was so automatic. I ordered online for my cabinate keys. A man came and took $40.00 and gave me receipt. Next day other man came on a van named BSAFE and brought keys and checked. But they didn't work. He said he will get the right ones. After two weeks I called the company on the same number (1-877-605-LOCK ) given on the receipt. He said we can't make the key so we keep your money as service charges.

I used this company because of their promise for fast carpet installation. They were a week later than promised to come and install, as well as 5 hours longer on the actual job than they had promised. This is essentially a tile and granite outlet, and carpeting is certainly not their specialty. They outsource the carpet installation and so when you call, they have no idea what's going on. Smart Lids
I paid $20.00 for two sets of smart lids but the shipping and handling was $47.70 and because I didn't notify them that I was returning them they said that they could only give me a $20 credit, which they did. My point was that they probably didn't weight over 5 or 6 oz - they were plastic rings with a stretching plastic over them. If they would have been reasonable about the s & h charges I could have handled this, but I find this ridiculous. There is probably nothing you can do, but I have never disputed a charge in my life, but I don't like this one.

Cub Cadet Riding Tractor Deck Belt will not stay on pulleys. Has occurred [and continues to occur] many many times during the 2 years of ownership. Other Internet sites [http://www.compacttractorreview.com/review/Cub-Cadet/LT1045.aspx] have records of identical complaints from many consumers and MTD [Cub Cadet] has neither issued a recall on this tractor or issued a retrofit repair kit/procedure to resolve this major design flaw. The main drive pulley on the engine has no belt retainer/keeper brackets and the steep angle of the drive pulley in relation to the deck pulleys (in the mow position) appears to be a contributing factor in this issue. read full review »

I was in my backyard and was at the other end of a pumper hose being sprayed by insecticide. They were hired to spray the tree by my neighbors. I was not notified by my neighbors and the trunk of the tree is just on their side of the property. Half the tree over hangs my property. I was not notified, they did not check the property to see if anyone was there (there is a fence between properties so you cannot see), and had not right spray the libs overhanding my property.

They botched the pre-treatment and refused to take responsibility! I would not recommend H.H.Gregg for any appliance purchase. Their models all seem to be one and two years old. Many of them have major problems within the first two years. The extended warranties are not factory or manufacturer backed. They are held by some GE concern that has no consideration for the customers concerns and frustration at the lack of proper repair and maintenance. The service company that is used in the Cleveland area not factory or manufacturer trained. They are poorly trained on one model and lost on any other. Below is part of the complaint I just mailed to PUC Texas. I'm switching to Reliant Energy, Call them, they have 10% off Summer with $75.00 credit, 14.22 & 15.8 locked in rate for 2 years. Takes 3 weeks to change so I will be eating P&J for 2 months. And no service fee. You have to call in for this.
Dynowatt is a total rip off. I urge you to write the Public Utilities Commission or File a Complaint online.

I recently bought (about 6 mos.ago) a Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffee maker, I went to make my coffee this morning and no coffee! It stopped perking and the heating element went out on it. I just recently read that the mr. coffee plant laid off 390 workers and moved their plant to mexico. After buying mr. coffee products for over 10 years, I'm sad to say I will stop buying your products. I have made many purchases at The Plant Shed in Mansfield Texas over the years. The first time that a shrub I purchased didn't make it, I carried the dead plant to the store for a refund or credit. I had lost the original receipt but made a copy of my AMEX statement showing two purchases within the last three months. I had registered a complaint at whirlpool customer care on 14th June 2008 that, the Elite250 refrigerator which I own from 2004 is not cooling. The service engineer came on 17th June 2008 and checked that the compressor had stop functioning. The compressor had to be replaced.
