I purchased a Gazebo off Top Buy which arrived in a timely manner although the product was faulty and the parts were all terribly made and did not connect into the poles. I contacted them and they advised that if it was a manufactures fault they would refund my money. They organised a courier to pick the item up. On Sept. 3, 2010, Clozermatic service people gave a $433 estimate for the replacement of a garage door panel and new key pad. They required a $200 deposit to place the order for parts which we wrote at that time. Since then, five different appointments were made for the repair and each time, no one showed. Requested wiring of 15 circuits - Russ Slaughter provided a fixed price to include all work. He requested payments beyond the $2000 down payment before work was complete. I paid 1/2 of remaining balance with promise to have job finished. He returned, disputed amount of work remaining, however finally agreed in front of his employees that the requests I made were in the original price. We recently moved out of our apartment at the Gardens at Polaris in Ohio. Of all the charges they sent us, they also charged us for the stove replacement. that is ridiculous.. that they do not consider any wear and tear of the stove ... and basically since they are replacing the stove they are charging us the whole amount... so what is the use of having it for rent, we could have just bought our own stove and used it for the 2 yrs we lived there and when moving out we give their stove back same as the shape we got it initially... The management of this condominium is a total fraud. I ordered a Coffee Table & End Table on October 6, 2010 from www.amishfurnituresite.com. Vera ? said their driver would deliver the tables on December 13th. The driver never showed or called. Amish failed to return my phone calls but emailed me saying basically the problem was between me and the driver. Coast to Coast based in AK sub-contracts sales people for different areas of the country to sell their metal buildings--these people do not have any responisiblity other than collecting the deposit. C to C then hires ANOTHER fly by night comp to 'build' the metal structure. They barely built it any better than I could---tons of problems and then C to C cant be reached nor the flybys that made it. They never returned. And worst of all they get away with it. This past November 2010 I used a company called "Christ Ian Construction and Roofing" located in Grafton Ohio. Owner Robert Laurence and his crew did such a poor job that by the time the first snow fall it was leaking in 5 different area's. Ordered several desks and other office furniture from online website. Big mistake. 2 1/2 weeks later and numerous calls to customer service and the order is no closer to being onsite than the day I placed the ordered. If you need the goods in reasonable period of time, go to the local store and arrange for local delivery. Ikea online has a very immature operation so save yourself the frustration. Purchased a Kenmore [made by whirlpool] dishwasher and within 11 months noticed a few rust spots on the racks. I have had this happen on very old dishwashers here and there and while it was a pain it was not a drastic problem. On Dec 14th I ordered on line a Sealy Crusade King size mattress to be delivered as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I placed the order on line and on the order page it state FREE DELIVERY. We bought a mattress from the Roomstore back in July 2008, with the mattress came a 3yr warrenty from the roomstore! For the first year and half, the mattress was fine! On 23rd October 2010, I delivered 8 timber dining room tub chairs to Padstow Upholstery in Sydney with the promise from the business 0wner that the chairs would be restained and re-upholstered no later than 21 days from delivery to the factory. A 50% deposit of $1, 000 was paid. It is now the 7th January 2011 and the work has not been completed. North Star Alarm Company suckered me into signing a 3 year contract right after I was robbed. They told me I would get a rebate due to I was already checking into companies that where cheaper, but no rebate came about. I then relocated to an apartment that already had an alarm, but they would not cancel my contract, so I paid $40 a month and am still paying. I have a love seat and couch leather with recliners built in. Each has a broken mechanism and can not be repaired because the china company is out of business. Riteaway was sent out to replace my water heater via my home warranty company - First American. These companies are in cahoots to rip off consumers. This is a fraud company with no ethics and no written committments given to the customer, they have office at 6 or 7 locations in hyderabad.
