Canton put a roof on my house and left a hole big enough to place a screwdriver in which caused damage inside my house. After stating that they were unable to fix the roof, they fixed the interior wall and sent us a bill. After arguing over paying the bill they reversed the charges. When the issue happened again another contractor fixed the roof issue within an hour. I was received a quote from Mike which is willing to charge me for $99/1000 square feet of carpet. We were agreed to clean my whole house which has around 1700 square feet of carpet for $198. The technicians(Dennis and Bob) showed up 1.5 hours late, perform a rapid carpet cleaning job with only water. They finished the job after an hour. The stains and dirt were left on the carpet. Job is well over six months old just to do a simple wood floor over a slab and install cabinets w/tops Workmanship on the floor is so bad I am ashamed to let people see it. These people did not even coat all of the bare wood! my floor was to be glued and power riveted to the slab and is for the most part. Eastport Apartments are having problems with the windows in their apartments. When it rain water comes through on to base board of window causing mold, mildew, and some kind of algae substance. Property Owners told managers to tell residents to wipe off windows everyday because they sweat. This doesn't make sense for paying residents to be told somthing as craziest as this especially when it's not problem. I want everyone to know not to purchase an extended warranty from this company. I purchased two: one for my Kitchenaid dishwasher and one for my Kitchenaid convection oven and microwave combination. Linders does not live up to their agreements. As part of a Linders company promotion I was told that I would receive a grocery voucer of $25 per month totaling $500 for purchasing a $1, 600 entertainment center. After nine months of following the instructions and receiving NOTHING I inquired with Linders why this was happening. Linders told me (I had to call them!) that the company providing vouchers went out of business. Linders now wants to negotiate a $350 voucher to use towards the purchase of more Linders furniture. This company based out of Deer Park, NY is a disgrace. I originally thought i was dealing with the original co. Total Leather Care ( who was great !, but they are now The Leather Solution in Baldwin, NY ). The deceptive way this co. presents itself as total leather solutions should be criminal . My problem with the company started when I ordered the blender. I placed my order for one blender for $222.99, but as I was getting ready to complete my order, there was an offer to purchase a refurbashed blender for $99.00. I too have a similar complaint. In the last 10 months, starting in march or so of 2009 my PSEG bills have skyrocketed. They continually estimated my bills until I filed a complaint with the Board of Public Utilities. I then got a new gas meter installed so that it could be read from the exterior of my home but when it came time for the first reading, the reader had to enter my home anyway and read it manually.
