There were a leakage of gas on 14.10.2009 evening from the junction of the regulator and cylinder when a new cylinder was connected. A strong hissing sound with pungent smell alerted us. The cylinder was immediately stopped and next day i.e on 15.10.2009 a complaint was lodged with the agency but till 18.07hrs. no one attended. When undersigned contacted over phone they boldly said there is no EMERGENCY service. In the spring of 2009, my wife noticed that our furnace was not shutting off, we decided we would wait until the fall as the cost would probably be extensive to repair. We purchased the Harbor Breeze 52" Halston II Aged Bronze Ceiling Fan at the end of January in 2009. IT WAS GREAT!!! Until... last month (Sept. 2009) the ceiling fan suddenly started to spin in the opposite direction. When we purchased our new home our realtor recommended that we hire a company named US Inspect in Chantilly, VA to do our home and termite inspections. It was a big mistake to think that US Inspect has qualified termite inspectors. The company claims their inspectors provide homebuyers with accurate and detailed WDI/WDO inspection reports however their inspectors ARE NOT qualified to do termite inspections. We purchased a new home in September of 2006. Contractor who built the home had a Goodman Heat Pump 13 seer installed. We are three years into owning the home. The A coil in the air exchanger started leaking a pound and a half of freon per month. Warranty covered part but not the $500 labor to install on 10-2-09. Simply stated: My wife and I ordered blackout blinds for for our newborn's room, very clearly stating we needed blackout blinds. We purchased what the sales rep advised based upon our requests for $300. The order arrived, and the shades/blinds are the furthest thing from blackout than one could imagine. They allow in vast amounts of light. JC Penney insists it is my issue now, as they do not refund or fix special orders like this. I was relieved to find this website as it has allowed me the opportunity for some redress against Empire Direct for their shocking customer service. I have two very big complaints. 1) The sales representatives are the most pressure driven people I have ever worked with. I heard ever sales pitch, gimmick, and trick in the book working with these guys. They don’t ask you if you are interested, they tell you that you are interested. I placed an order shown below on the 27th Sept for a bed and mattress. The order passed the deadline and I wasn't informed of this change. Kept waiting more than 6 weeks I cancelled and was refunded. We ordered for two single reclining sofas and a three seater on 14-July with Allders Store in Croydon, and paid the full amount (around 1000GBP) on the same day. Advice me if you think its fair... I placed an order for sofas in January during New Year sales. They advertises a special offer for a massage chair at reduced price when you spend over £1000. In late 2000 we spent almost £20000 having Hammonds refit all four of our bedrooms. The saga of getting them right lasted almost a year. Furniture 123 are still at their old tricks. I ordered a nest of tables on 14 June, for delivery in two weeks. Furniture 123 took the money from my account on the 16 June. I received a phone call from them telling me that they were waiting for new stock to come in and that the goods would be delived by the later part of July. I have tried to contact them several times by phone and email without success. I have now written to them giving them seven days to either deliver the goods or return my money otherwise I will be reporting them and their actions to Trading Standards. I was on vacation from June 20 till September 19. Nobody was living at my home. We were the 3rd of 3 homes built in our subdivision before the builder went under. Our 8-10 month build time stretched to 18 months and we still had to fight to close at that time. Though they did not file for bankruptcy, we were told that they would provide labor for our warranty, but we would have to pay costs out of pocket. They did a couple things, but we had to contact the contractors directly and only the tile company and the HVAC company worked with us. Whitaker Pool & Spa is an organization that opens and closes pools year after year. They state that they have over 20 years experience. My experience unfortunately was a bad one. Just bought this mattress 7/30/09 and the first night the bed caves in where you lye. No support what so ever and lumpy. We were never given a copy of the warranty. This BBQ was advertised as stainless steel but the only think stainless on it is the outside which still looks good. However the BBQ didn't last even two years and when I called to get parts I was informed that none of the parts are warranted against rust or heat damage. Hello, this is a BBQ!! At this point I'm livid with Waste Management. This is the second year in a row that on "Special Cleanup Day", I've howled out my debris to the curbside following their instructions to the T. I've anticipated that there will be problems because of last year experience when I confronted their employees that showed up in an already full truck and in a very rude manner refused to do their job. I would like to know how freedom power can charge you. 26 for kilos and all the other electric companies charge you from. 13 to. 19. They say they are a pay as you go service but unfortunately they are not and will tell you, you have to pay for someone else's electric that lived where you lived at before and charge you over $300.00 for electric each month, until you pay for the other persons electric that didn't get paid. I had worked for this company since 06/18/08 to 10/5/09. I feel treated unfairly about my termination.But the point is when they let me go I had 50.5 hours of vaction time left. Both my Boss and his boss said i would get it because i earned it. I got a check in the mail for one day of work and was wondering why my vaction pay wasnt on there.So i called HR and asked if I was gonna get that money.She told me NO!!!
