I paid for two years for the PSE&G "Worry Free" contract. Today (10/02/09) is the first time my furnace has some problem and I called them to fix it. My Kenmore electric range caught fire while broiling a steak. The broiler element became white hot and continued to burn after power was shut off. Fire Department called. The element broke into white hot flaming chunks and fell to the bottom of the over where it continued to burn white hot. I purchased the oven new about 5-6 years ago. This company is the worst pool company i have dealt with. They do not do the job they are hired, and if you happen to miss one payment, for $40, there is no grace period AT ALL, they let your pool go green until you pay. I just closed my pool and the credit card was declined, I don't know how, since i just checked it, but they threatened to put a lien on my house, since the woman who called me (who happened to be in Tampa Florida - go figure) knew I was selling my house. The first time I used my new Hamilton Beach blender it blew up. The blender started releasing black smoke from it, before I could shut it off and unplug it; it made this loud noice. My children started screaming and ran into the living room. That was the end of the blender and the end of my children ever wanting to make a milk shake again. September 2008 I changed my Gas and Electric powercard meter to paper billing. I own five properties in the Nottingham area. This week I have received called from tenants in three of the houses stating that their energy supplier has been changed from eOn to Scottish Power. Neither myself nor the tenants have requested this. Scottish Power is telling me this is all being requested online but they wont tell me who is doing it. We recently purchased a Samsung set (dishwasher, fridge and stove) from Leons. Their prices were the lowest and the store offered additional discounts if all 3 appliances were bought. We only really needed the dishwasher but got sucked in because of the savings. I purchased a GE fridge 4 years ago from the Brick. The sealed system failed 3 months ago and I cannot get my manufacturers warranty honoured. The Brick has offered me a fraction of the cost of the fridge as a credit at there store. Sla Tur Construction, in Pompano Beach, is terrible. They abandoned my job after taking $107, 000 of my money. They removed my personal property and won't return it. They got very few inspections done and they failed all but one of them. they continued on after failing the inspections so I have to pay another contractor to rip out what the work they did do.
