Building Contractor did not come back and repair the sheetrock in room of house that they sawed apart in four places in order to fix one of their mistakes previously had been done. The celing sheetrock is falling down from the ceiling in the hall bathroom. I cannot lock front or back door deaddbolt lock because the doors do not fit squarely. We hired a contractor and refinished hardwood floors in both living room and family room in May, 2010. After couple weeks later, we noticed not only small holes appeared on new hardwood floors but it got spreaded out rapidly. We hired a Terminix for the cause and found it caused by the post beetles living in the new hardwood floors. Sears Sold me a new carrier Furnace in January 09 . The sales people were extremely high pressure and promised Sears rewires all electrical connections with a new installation, . They also provided a five year maintenance agreement which they never gave me., I had to request and finally received nine month later. Paid contractor in 4 installments. The 1st installment was to pay for masonry work to back steps and new carpet for 1 bedroom. All monies were paid in a timely manner based on the contract. The work was not done. He called asking for the money again saying we didn't pay him for the work. It was listed out in the contract. This contractor walked off the job. He did not notify us at all. We were unable to get the keys back to our house thus we had to have new locks placed on the house. He does not return phone calls. He does decent work but is not reliable. This company replaced 12 connecting roofs. When the job was complete the yard was full of roofing nails. The company had to be called twice to pick up all the debris that was left in the grass. They also had and issue with a unit owner about a new leak that was comming into a pipe that was on the roof causing water to leak into a brand new furnace. Rhino Home Improvements of Sheffield/Rotherham built an extension which has leaked from the start. Despite a guarantee they have consistently refused to fix it and will not reply to any contact. I commented at the time that I thought their method of roofing would give potential for problems, but of course they knew best. Despite reassurance of their after-care, this has not been forthcoming.
