In Texas, there is no sales tax on grocery/food items. Backroads Bakery, Inc. sells fried pies. These have long been classified as non-taxable food items, however, at least one of their retail sellers are charging sales tax on the fried pies to retail customers. Backroads claims to have 80 stores selling their fried pies, so if all 80 stores are collecting sales tax, this is a massive amount of taxes being collected from customers on an item that is non-taxable. I go to the store and order a sonic bacon cheeseburger just like it says on the menu board and the always give me the bacon cheeseburger toaster. There is a difference. Today i gave them the benefit of doubt and went there again and I had to wait 25 minutes and when i got my food it was like they put it into a cooler it was so cold. I signed up for the free 15-day trial and received a confirmation email of my order. The email "clearly" stated that my free trial would begin the day that I received my bottle of TriSlim. I ordered the free sample like most on here, however after not ever recieving my free sample after 10 days I researched Acai Berry scams on the internet and saw how everyone was being charged $80 for the product when it was supposed to be free samples. I then tried to find thier number, eventually found it, and called it multiple times daily to cancel before this ammount was taken from my account. I'm getting hit with unauthorized charges. $9.95 that I was able to speak to a live person about and told her to stop them, and then there is also $4.95 being charged w/o my authorization and I cannot get through to a live person to get it stopped. On 12/16/08 I cancelled my order, #555006 & #555007, for an appetite suppressant (Phentremine) and a cleansing product (Phentremine Total Cleanse. I never received the product. On November 7, 2006 we bought a Kenmore HE2Plus washer. We were in the market for a heavy duty top load washer. The sales man we talked to told us about the front washers and how they save water and are more reliable than a top load washer.
