I bought an electronic toy from Star Magic online web store as a Christmas present. After two uses it quit working. I emailed twice with no response, asking for a return authorization number. I waited a few days then called. They would not accept the return of the defective toy and told me to send it back to the manufacturer. On their website their return policy says they will pay for the return shipping and make returns for defective products. This is a lie. So on top of the cost of the item and shipping, I now have to pay to ship it to the manufacturer and also pay return shipping again. This $30 toy will end up costing me over $50!!! read full review »

Internet seller, michelniques.com refuses to do an exchange of a Christmas gift because I purchased it more than 30 days prior. DUH some of us do our Christmas shopping early. Most retailers relax their return/exchange policies around Christmas time.
Please note, I did not ask for a refund, but an exchange...so they still would have had my business/money, so what's the big deal?
btw, I also noticed they also have big restocking fees on returns, should you ever get them to accept anything back. So...BUYER BEWARE of any purchase made from this crappy seller. read full review »

Having placed an online order in good faith, I am amazed at an organisation who take an order for an item, comfirm order successful after validating payment and then refuse to despatch items. This website has a .co.uk domain and a banner stating "free UK delivery" not to mention a .co.uk email address. However it turns out that it's address is a Louisiana PO Box. The amount shown on their invoice has no resemblance to the larger amount they actually charge to your card and their stated delivery time of 5 to 7 working days is complete rubbish. If you require an ESTA form which is for trips to the USA without a visa be very careful where you apply. Google bring this site up at the top of the search and in fact its a CON. They try and charge $40 for something that costs nothing directly from the US Embassy site.
No doubt there are many more but surely Google had some responsibilty to minitor these sites. Of course getting through to Google is another matter...its easy to talk directly to Harry Potter!!! read full review »

21/11/10 i had integral dishwasher fitted into my kitchen old one removed and taken away on removing old dishwasher a large piece of worktop laminate was broken off. Installers tried to hide this by replacing the broken piece and scarparing before being found out . 28/11/10 letter send with photos to complaints dept as instructed to date(29/12/10 i have had no acknowledgement whatsoever. It is a total scam !! I signed on with my credit card for the trial offer. It was billed to me at $2.95 and came up as $12 on my card. THAT was all I gave authority for !! Subsequently I have been billed several hundred dollars and received no product. My card is being trashed, and being an OAP I cannot pay that sort of money. The company charged my credit card twice, sent us a pair of boots that were damaged ( the stitching was undone when she opened the box). It took three weeks to get the boots. When they came 2 weeks later they were 2 sizes too small and the Ugg label on the back was sewn on totally wonky.
