We were mailed a bill from Regional Yellow Pages Online and when we called to let them know we had never used them nor authorized a contract, they told us they had a recording of an employee saying yes to the contract. We refused to pay because everything we can find about the company online is fraud and now they have sent us to collections with ACA Recovery Inc. The people at the collections service are also not helpful or willing to listen to our side of the story---stating "if we took advice from debtors..." Fox rental car in Denver gave us a car that had electrical problems. The doors would not lock with the key-less entry. We had 2 bags stolen because we thought the car was locked. When we returned the car, 3 Fox employees told us there has been electrical problems with the Hyundai Elantras. I spoke to the manager, Mitch Osborn, he told me that there is nothing wrong with the cars. I spoke to his manager, Lisa Curtis, who was very rude and would continually interrupt me as I was explaining the situation. They are renting cars with known problems. This is one of those companies that advertises a ticket to an event for a markup of 30%, not too unreasonable, but then tacks on a $15 shipping charge (for a piece of paper??) and a $5 handling fee. Papa Media & Alibris are SCAM ARTISTS! I searched Alibris for a particular book using an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), which is specific to *ONE* book only. The Alibris search engine delivered something else. I didn't notice the error until after I paid. I immediately notified Alibris & Papa Media of the error - within *FIVE* MINUTES. They REFUSED to cancel! In order to get a refund, I had to contact my credit card company. Papa Media has such poor rating on Alibris, they have opted out of buyers being able to read it! I was denied a room upon arrival at the Super 8 Motel on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado. Many rooms were in fact available and full standard identification was provided even including an AAA Member Card and a Super 8 Rewards Club Mamber Card. Palimeri movers charged me over $4, 000. to move my belongings from a 2 bedroom house with two small sheds to a smaller two bedroom condo. I ordered a new kitchen faucet from homeperfect. The box appeared to be opened and when I looked to make sure all the items were in box I discovered the main faucet housing finish was rubbed off in one spot and was very visible. Burt & Associates is a commercial collection agency that has been harrassing me for months. I have filed complaints with the FTC and the BBB. They have a gentleman calling using the name of " Greg Smith, he yells and screams at you on the phone and gives deadlines of when you are to call him back, but nothing ever happens. Dream construction on paper seemed like the perfect set up. Marvin the sales representative was a very nice man. Initially we were led to believe that he was going to be the Project Lead for our house renovation but it didn't happen that way. They hired a guy who managed the project. On my credit card statement of 4-05-2011 I was charged $39.00 for a membership to this website. I have not authorized this nor do I belong to the website. I do not know how they aquired my Credit Card #. I have reported this to my Credit card and also to the Indiana State Attorney Generals Office.
