Buyer Beware! They put a $265 hold on my credit card for 2 weeks for a 1 night stay. The room was prepaid, but they asked for my credit card in case there were incidentals. They did not inform me of the amount that they put on hold. I found out when I went to the next hotel (Aria Hotel and Resort) to check in and my card was declined to cover their incidentals. I received poor service with no consideration for the time and money involved with the purchase of my countertops from Lamtech as contracted out by Lowes. I was given a date of when they would be delivered. A week later I was told that it wouldn’t be until December 8th for me to receive my countertops because the caulk was on back order. Company uses deceptive advertising to fraudulently entice customers. When we pointed it out to them, they became very defensive and rude. We had to submit a claim to our credit card company to get our money back for several services that they were to have provided and did not. We had to provide taped recordings of all of our calls with the company to prove the fraud. This company submitted a fake check dated December 13, 2010, in the amount of $33.00, signed "Authorization on File, " t my elderly mother's bank, which then processed the check. My mother never authorized this company to make any withdrawals from her account, and we are now disputing this check with the bank. I bought the truck new, 2008 F350 diesel, the water in fuel light would come on all the time, I would keep draining it and when I took it in to have it checked they found no problems, I kept in serviced and changed out the fuel filters. The last time I changed the fuel filter the light quit coming on, with 8000 miles on the fuel filter the truck quit... Now they say it needs a new fuel system over$8000. and they will not fix it because it has to much water in the fuel and that is maintenance. What can we do???? read full review »

TV advertising misleading on price and shipping and handling. They say you get a second unit free but don't specifically tell you that a $14.95 shipping and handling charge is added for the second unit. They only provide One set of specialty insert pans even though you are sent two units. If you wants to buy a second set of pans it will cost you and additional $19.90. I took my 2002 Ranger in for an oil change. The tech @ service writer said I needed a total of $1, 085.00 of work on my truck. They led me to beleave this work was of a priority because it was in the front suspension @ engine. I took my truck to another repair shop @ was told all I needed was the coolant flush ($100.00) . When the service mgr. at Varsity heard of this discripency he requested to review the recommendation by them. After his review he admitted they were WRONG. I hired Sharp Ace Contractors to renovate two bathrooms, kitchens, and refinish the floor throughout my duplex. Among the many issues that I had throughout the project, and the fact that the project took 6 months to complete. The final walk through of the project was atrocious. Watch out for Cell Phone Care Center of Arlington, Virginia. They are a major scammer and have scammed a lot of customers. I took my screen in for replacement and I could not believe it but the technician they had there ended up breaking one of the connectors while try to remove it. He appologized but ended up adding the repair charge to my screen replacement cost and then when I refused to pay, they said that then they could not give us our cell phone back. Newt Thorne was going to endanger the lives of everyone who lives in Cottonwood Villas. He wanted to tear all of our buildings apart to put put in dryer vents that would of never passed code or inspection. It takes 3 elbows to get to the exterior wall which would mean our dryers would have to be 10 ft or less to the exterior wall for it to conform to code.
