Springhouse Window and Door, Paoli, PA did a window replacement job for me recently at over $5, 000. They installed new sash on top of a rotten frame and didn't bother to let me know about the rot. I had to try to have it repaired after the installation of the new sash. It would have been so much easier to repair the frame rot while the old windows were out - before the new windows were installed. They were totally unapologetic. I received a call on my cell phone stating that it was a Mr. Johnson from United Legal. He was a 'Special Investigator' and someone had filed a complaint against me! I was to call this # in San Antonio 210-280-8071 and a claim # and then to use the prompt #3 to find out what it was about. The call I answered was from a 'Private Number'. On 11/12/2008 my husband and I attended a presentation conducted by Vacation Ventures. We were told the horrors of trying to sell or rent our existing timeshare. We paid them a total of $3, 410.00. to transfer ownership to them. They offered to transfer ownership of the timeshare to Vacation Ventures. Ebay buyer beware. I purchased a simple faucet from these people who have Ebay stores under the name Best Choice Products and Sky Billiards. After it was installed, we discovered that the faucet was defective because it contained a cheap "O" ring that was insufficient to carry water pressure. On 7/26/10 I ordered Consumer Reports (8-14 weeks for delivery) which should have arrived no later than 11/5/10. Contacted magazinesdealsnow.com on 11/16/10 regarding I never received my order. The service allows one to call overseas through a local number. for the past month it has not been working but i still get charged when i dial the number. i have emailed and filled in a response on the website but nobody gets back to me. i have called but stay on hold for ages and ages. why am i being charged if the service does not work, why does the service not work, and why dont the personnel reply to emails, or answer the phone. there is no other mode for us to contact the company. dont charge people at cellular rates if your service does not work. read full review »

Went to Mercedes Sandton to replace a headlight globe. Phoned them 2 times this morning to enquire whether the item is covered as part of service contract but no-one could help. Went in, had to pay for the globe, asked to speak to a service consultant to get clarity on what is excluded from service contract and was informed that globes are covered under the service plan. No-one had explained to me that I had to book the car in to ensure that it is covered under the service plan as no one knew. It seems as if there is a lack of knowledge and no one really cares.
