The wilderness hunt is you being dropped off by boat at the banks of Indian Lake at early morning and being retrieved at sundown. My specific problem was a passenger door lock scam that was neatly played by the boss/manager of the day. The girl who had checked my car out three weeks before just sat there and I believe is fully in on this scam. The manager came directly out, saw no dents or other marks on the body and then walked over to the passenger door lock and tried to lock it with the key. He did not try any other lock. I placed an order with this company, and my credit card was charged immediately. The website said same day shipping and 2-4 day delivery. After a week, I contacted the company and they told me I had not placed an order with them. I sent them verification of my credit card charge, and they still did not acknowledge my order. The issue is not so much with the website, but with the service provided. I mailed an old cell phone for repair approximately 3 weeks ago, and have gotten no response from this firm. Email inquiries to the site bounce back, and their phone number appears to be disconnected. Doesn't give one a lot of confidence that the company even exists. I placed an order over 12 days ago, was charged for the merchandise but never received it, requested confirmation and information about the order through their "contact us" and have not heard anything at all. I ordered a coach handbag from this site 11/13/10. I have not received any correspondence and it is 11/20/10. Went to their website today and found that it was supposedly shipped 11/15/10. I received receipt after order staing the charge would be 78.99 but my account was charged 82.43. My husband was suspicious and I should have been too. We blocked the card we ordered on and requested a new card to avoid future charges. We have just decided this is a lesson learned and that we just lost 80 bucks. The website is fine, but the Alliance is a rip-off. They are supposed to negotiate lower home heating oil prices with area vendors and/or get deals for pre-buy prices. They only offered the pre-buy oil to new members and stuck us with the same oil company we had had the prior year. As it turns out, we are paying MORE than the company's cash price for oil. And they have the nerve to put on their website that these customers are paying .69 cents less than market price. Stay away from them and if you are a member, don't renew with them. I made that mistake. The customer service was extremely poor before buying but I stupidly went ahead with a purchase. I purchased a defected pair of shoes off of her and after several attempts to get it resolved, and being well within my consumer rights, she has decided to totally ignore my emails. I am now seeking legal action to get it resolved. Don't be fooled by the cheap prices. By the time it goes through the checkout, the VAT bumps it back up in price to everywhere else. I have aleast 25 30 pairs of born shoes which means I never wear the same pair all the time. I have had two pair of clogs come unglued just in the last month.
