I ordered a dry ice maker on June 4th for $475. In July we hadn't received the item. The charge appeared on my AMEX statement so I called ScienceLabs.com and was told the item wouldn't be shipped till August. The website should have indicated a delivery delay or sent me an explanation for non-delivery. ScienceLabs did neither. On August 4th I inquired a second time about delivery. My call was not returned. On September 3rd I called a third time and their voice mail box was full and I couldn't leave a message. I will attempt to contact them one last time via email and if unsuccessful, call AMEX and ask for a credit. read full review »

This company advertises a 90 day money back guarantee. I purchases an "Energy saving Nitro" based on their refund policy, believing I was safe from lies and fraud. After receiving their product, I used many different techniques to evaluate the product. I found the product useless and the energy savings promise to be groundless. After complaining to the company I was sent a larger capacity "Nitro". It too was found to be without effect and virtually useless. After complaining again I was told that I would have to comply with... read full review »

This site is horrible and they have no business being on the internet. Not only do they piggyback paid search words of company's by filling their site with the company name, but they also post false, confidential, and personal information without any disregard to the truth and the negative impact they create for legitamate company's. After doing research about the sites owner, I found out that the guy is actually a known scammer himself and tries to extort money out of company's. Also, there are open federal cases against him... read full review »

I ordered a laptop battery from them over a week ago. I've never receieved a confirmation email and tried to contact them via their 'contact us' page on the website - however, the 'send' button does not respond. Found a phone number on my paypal payment page - tried calling, but was faced with a weird automated voice - so i hold no hope with this either. RIP-OFF. National advertising about a "Get Free Checking. Get a Flip UltraHD". "What do I need? No requirements". The very bottom of the fine print says "Offer valid only for customers residing in FirstBank's trade areas." But of course does not define what a trading area is, but they are advertising nationally for ebanking right? So I spent over an hour checking them out and giving them lots of personal information and then today I got the call to verify my information - "by the way, you know you don't... read full review »

This is a contest with fees. There is no guaranteed winnings. There is a fee of nine dollars and a math skill question to be answered before entry into the contest. Later there are more fees and quizzes according to the fine print. If a law has been violated include me in the class action suit. Queens
Donald November 25, 2010
It seems scamming is a feat made possible by anyone with a vivid imagination these days. The most recent scam is from a Queens based duo: Matthew McEntee, a wheelchair bound man, and his accomplice, Marina Mora. Through a perfect ploy they managed to scam a dozen Queens based victims out of eight cars, 11 homes, a $2.2 Million plot of land, $310, 000 in cash, as well as diamonds, gold and mink coats. It would be even more impressive if the duo had avoided proper authorities. Unfortunately for them they are being held on$500, 000 and $50, 000 bail and face a slew of charges that carry up to 25 years in prison. read full review »

My credit is not that great and a couple days later a "lender" called me by the name of Yorkview Financial Services saying that they could approve me for a loan, but I would have to pay 1080.00 upfront. I thought it was a answer to my prayers as I was having a hard time finding a loan, to pay for my college expenses. I scraped up every penny that I had, and borrowed the rest that I couldn't cover. I have opened an account with Forexyard and deposited 500$ on the 24th of February 2009. They told me that they are giving a free 500$ cash back to everyone who deposits 500$, though I didn’t need that for my trading strategy as I’m a long term trader and according to my risk management I trade only 0, 1 lots and this requires only 50$ margin so I can deposit only part of my trading capital to a broker and the rest of it I can keep in a bank where I receive a few per cents annually. Sometime back I had written about a scam called Master Research Inc., a company that swindled money from people by promising them employment. Those who fell for the scam were given to understand that they would be working as secret shoppers testing the payment mechanisms of large shopping malls. They had gone underground, it was believed, when the going got too hot. Now, it seems, they have resurfaced after a name-change as Secret Shoppers Inc. Sign that the scam was alive and kicking were received last week. Nancy Timmerman, after... read full review »

I went on-line to order the Bark-off advertised on T.V. because when you call the 800 number they try to sell you 50 different items. They offered 2 for the price of 1, but they charge you separate shipping for each one(even though it is shipped in the same box for the cost of 1 shipment), they do not give you the option to just buy 1. We really wanted to try it, so I bit the bullet and bought it. Later that week I tried using my debit card and it was denied. John Deere Credit ordered a repossession of my farm equipment that was unnecessary and inconsiderate, and then charged me, the customer, $1, 000 to reclaim the equipment. Their action was not illegal, just illogical and insensitive. When my income was reduced last year, I contacted all of my creditors asking for lower payments. Of nine credit accounts, John Deere was the ONLY one that refused. I continued to make regular payments, but at a reduced level.
